It went from one of the worst cycle card to one of the best cycle card with high damage output. Only 1 goblin made a world of difference. It made 1 elixier skellies irrelevant in the meta. Just wow!
ice spirit is even more broken than Goblins imo
Same thing happened when it was 4th skeleton and probably they will become 3 again(goblins)

I'd rather see skeleton go to 4 than goblins go back to 3

@@Zvxers7 you can sacrifice gobline to the balloon bomb to charge the skeleton king meter🧐maybe that is not fully counter but I could say close enough😂
you can! the placement doesn't really matter since it's not like lava does any damage anyway
Crazy to think that goblins were a top 15 worst card in to one of the best cycle cards.
Essentially, the general rule is that if the troop is melee/flying, you should kite or distract them, and if the troop is ranged/splash, surround them
Royal delivery will make the list to 49 cards as the recruit from delivery will get a hit on tower if ignored.
4:05 The fact that a 2 elixir card can take out the second highest health troop in the game with no damage taken goes to show how broken the goblins are
That’s just how swarm is, plus he played the goblins faster than a normal person would react. Just use spells

For the fire spirit, you can split goblins and then get a counter push opposite lane

Some of this require absurd reaction times after the nerf, specially when underleveled, like the two lines wallbreakers
skellies: play them 0.3 seconds after seeing the shadow or you will receive 1.000 damage
goblins:play them in the middle, or not it doesnt matter
Excellent video, but couldn't you have split the goblins for the fire spirit so only 2 die for a little counter push potential?
It’s very hard to react quickly to the fire spirit at the bridge and split in time since it moves very quick, might be possible sometimes though or if you predict it

They should probably clump them up to nerf them and maybe increase the Deploy Time

Yeah the separation spawn gets way too much value especially against cards that are supposed to counter it like the dark Knight and ghost

proof that goblins went from the worst to the best card in one change
the lumberjack counts because people say the balloon gets fully countered by cards but it still does bomb damage so i think it counts
You can actually counter the goblin gang, although the timing has to be a lot more precise because of the spear goblin range buff. Right before the spear goblins get in range, place the goblins on top of the spear goblins. They should take out the spears, and the gang’s melee goblins should retarget to your goblins.

9:57 People don’t realize that princess at the bridge is actually react-able if you are expecting it
Its not reactable, its predictable, which is what he said
@@Kkanon it may be that some devices are slow, but I can literally react to princess at the bridge. I have the card in hand and as soon as i see something at the bridge i play it and it works. There's a small amount of time it takes the princess to walk in range of the tower, and that window is technically reactable

Wouldn’t it be more beneficial to split your goblins lower with the fire spirit so 2 go opposite lane, promoting a counter push?
It might be harder taking into account reaction time
If you play goblins on top of the fire spirit only 2 get killer the other 2 survive
2:09 the best way to counter electro spirit is similar to firecracker, the electro spirit has chain dmg so if u place goblins in between ur princess tower and ur king tower right before the electro spirit hits, u can chain it into ur king towert and get it activated
pretty sure hes tryna show how to counter them without taking any princess tower dmg
well one electro spirit doesnt rly matter so may as well activate the king tower@@Someone-hi1nt
These counter videos are useful but what we need to start having is card combo counters as in mid to high ladder most players wont just put a mini pekka or giant at the bridge or sokmething by themselves
I remember the only deck that i could find with goblins (3) was a mortar deck. I argued against my friends back in 2018 that gaurds was a good card since it is better than goblins while thinking that goblins was secretely also a good card.
You forgot to mention one card that goblins counter: skeletons. Whether your opponent plays skeletons at the bridge or splits them, placing goblins behind the king tower will counter them.

11:35 you can actually fully counter Mighty with perfect timing if you put them in the middle near your king cause they split 3/1 and if your opponent pops the ability the last Goblins kites back MM and fully counters it.
You can also fully counter a Hog for no hits if you predict it

For the spirits you can split the goblins and have two on the other side for push or little damgae

Tip: for the fire spirit, when it’s placed at the bridge you can put the goblins in the middle as soon as the fire spirit is placed so the goblins separate and 2 die, and 2 live
when coutering the fire spirit... couldn't you somehow split the gobs so you can do something in the opposite late? idk, 2 gobs could help with dual lane pressure, but ig you would need to pull off some timing

Skeletons counter 31 cards at just one elixir.
Goblins counter 48 cards at 2 elixir.
This is balanced. No need to nerf.
Notice how boss doesn’t include counters for skeletons and mirror.

The tower can counter skeletons wuthout help so no real point in covering them

Here's a very interesting tip: you can fully counter a Ballon if you place if just before the balloon attacks the tower
For mini pekka i like to surround immediately so i can get damage before a log or arrows come

When thwarting Fire/Electro Spirits, your better off splitting the Gobs mid/low so only 2 are sacrificed, setting counterpush on opposite side.

You can fully counter wizard with goblins but the timing is kinda difficult

Ok I'll make it simple
Mini tank: in the middle
Ranged troops: surround them
Flying troops (long range): next to the tower at the last second
Flying troops (small range): distract by placing behind them troop
Swarms: in the middle

my top three cards 3 knight 2 firecracker but 1 i love the goblins one of the best defense cards in the game ik a lot of people like the skeletons more cuz there more cheap and weak but goblins are way better more health one extra troop more damage just for one more elixer

Its very risky but i had very rare interactions where i surounded Bomber and Wizard with 3 skeletons and they died without dealing damage on tower. With Wizard its VERY rare

Im not 100% sure abt this but i always thought that it might be possible to full counter ljack by splitting the goblins in the middle so that the ones that walked away still come back

This is probably the best card in the game especially because it’s only 2 elixir and unless ur playing a really cheap cycle deck it does what skeletons do but much better and for only 1 extra elixir

No, princess is easy to predict. They always seem to play her when the arena is empty
