Yes his mouth is beautimous.....yet this interview has to be my most favourite....his words are amazing and The Cure truly gets its......truly gets it......their gigs NEVER DISAPPOINT......
he seems like one THE most down to earth rockstars ever...the Cure are a great band and Robert is one the best frontmen ever...you can tell he cares about not himself first, but the fans
I love the Cure and they were the band that got me into being a music fan in the first place. Years later I have really gotten into the Rolling Stones and it is awesome to know that Robert is a fan as well. Good music never dies.
David Bowie played Earl's Court in 1973 and 1978. The '73 one ended in a riot, which Robert surely would have mentioned if he was so there. So, Robert was probably at the '78 one, making him off by a factor of 3-4 years. But the setlist for that show doesn't look like it could possibly be in the ballpark of 40 minutes. o.O
@90shilling I couldnt handle RS doing a "makeover" are you kidding??? thats not Robert Smith......it himself....take it or leave it....I love him how he is....and what you see is stage Robert .....He is just like you or I or anyone for that matter, he doesnt wear makeup and black clothing all the time.
@90shilling The man is just fine the way he's been for 30yrs. Why should he tart himself up for you? Thery have more fans now than they did in the 80s. Conformity kills.
This whole interview sums up why The Cure are the most special band on the planet and where the lame comparisons between The Cure and The Smiths should end. Morrissey couldn't hold a candle to Robert Smith. If somebody throws a flower on stage aiming in Morrissey's direction- like a typical drama queen- he would cancel the whole show, sending all the fans home and contrast this to Robert who would go on regardless of any awkward moments that may happen.... and leave the fans satisfied, having watched the best concert in the world.
Very talented artist, but needs desperately needs a makeover. I loved the 80's, but I've incorporated some of the '10+ into my style. He could mash it up a bit for a really great look.
Yeah, he's still hot.

he seems like a genuinely great man. i he may have taught me a something about work ethic that i hope i don't forget
this is probably the best I've seen Robert in interview - you actually get to find something out about him and his character.
Heaven wont be complete without him. so beautiful...he doesnt even know it
Love him..love his style
Rock and Roll Hall of Famers. Still doing festivals, and an album or two due out anytime. Love The Cure!

Robert its. My loveeeeeee
He's 50 here and looks the same as he always has.
It has just occured to me how good robert would be playing pennywise the clown in a remake of IT
Well, the remake is now in existence. And he didn't play the clown but at least one of his songs was in the soundtrack eh?
does anyody know of an address for direct correspondance with the band? like fan mail?
@sybamunki I can't agree with you more.
