This whole interview sums up why The Cure are the most special band on the planet and where the lame comparisons between The Cure and The Smiths should end. Morrissey couldn't hold a candle to Robert Smith. If somebody throws a flower on stage aiming in Morrissey's direction- like a typical drama queen- he would cancel the whole show, sending all the fans home and contrast this to Robert who would go on regardless of any awkward moments that may happen.... and leave the fans satisfied, having watched the best concert in the world.

David Bowie played Earl's Court in 1973 and 1978. The '73 one ended in a riot, which Robert surely would have mentioned if he was so there. So, Robert was probably at the '78 one, making him off by a factor of 3-4 years. But the setlist for that show doesn't look like it could possibly be in the ballpark of 40 minutes. o.O

Leeds 2012!!

....Once Roger's synths kicked in it totally sounded like the recorded version....WELCOME BACK ROGER....and Jason really sounded like the record here, he is so good...Robert's voice is amazing it sounds the same as it did 30 years ago...this group will not be properly appreciated until they are gone...unfortunately...they are rock royalty....the best is yet to come, I can't wait for the new album next year, it is going to be so good, I hope it is The Dark Album.....

...Jason is a really good drummer....and Boris is so long gone, 20 years gone...LONG LIVE JASON.....and after him ANDY....Yay ANDY....another totally awesome Cure drummer after Jason....

smith is getting slightly chubby, but nevertheless, that's the ORIGINAL voice - & by definition you can't be better than the original// so I'd say after all this years he's still doing pretty good//

Boris Williams IS the only CURE drummer with soul. Seen them repeatedly since 1987, including the amazing Dodger Stadium show with Love & Rockets and Pixies. He has aptitude, but lacks Boris's passion and freedom. Just listen to their past shows and recordings, they are thoroughbreds racing to win. But hey, I guess Boris said it was enough.
