I saw Doug with two other great comedians at OKC on Sep 28 2016 (a little over a week ago) and one of the comedians was doing a Bill Burr impersonation and it was hilarious because Doug was on stage laughing his ass off as well.
Nolan Jenkins Where there any hecklers? There was a hot chick in our venue and she was interrupting Doug and the other comics during the show. Then when Doug was trying to do is closure this dumb twat stood up (only person standing up, and she had front row dead center) and Doug told her several times to sit the fuck down. Then after the third time he told security to escort her out and that he wouldn't continue until she was outside the building. AMAZING!!! SHE LEFT CRYING and even put up a fight by the door!!! LOL!!!

He definitely did. I'm alcoholic and I'm like "I started at 7"...they always assume it's pm.
I love Doug. He's the uncancellable comic because he doesn't give a shit and neither do his fans. Lol. His audio book is well worth a listen too. He invites old friends in to recount and verify details that you maybe don't get on paper.
Bro, I like Stanhope too, but he literally stopped selling "Before Turning the Gun on Himself" when cancel culture went live.
he cultivates a stage attitude of unabashed assholishness, but he seems like he's naturally a very nice and genuine guy.
SodaPopSD - Met him after a show. He was happy to meet/chat with anyone who wanted to.
Doug seems like a genuinely good dude, someone who is satisfied with life and just happy.

When he talked about the cruise...I was picturing Doug and David Foster Wallace together on a cruise ship.
I doubt DFW would care or relate to Standhope. And Stanhope to DFW. Two different worlds.
Doug is one of the greatest comedians ever and an amazing human being. I loved that he quoted Hedberg! You can tell the interviewer is a fan but he kept on asking good questions no matter what.... everything about this is spot on!
Doug has perfected his craft.

I agree things.....people should have the right to assisted suicide....I want to go right now. Have wanted to do so for a looooong time. But, now it just seems the only way. I've had 100's of thousands of dollars, and now I am broke. Money, they say, cannot buy you happiness, but it sure makes the misery of this world a little more endurable.
