Yes it really makes you wonder. Vas is the legend of rc , maybe people just like watching clowns destroy rc cars and hitting concrete instead of real reviews.
Perhaps because he i settled and down to earth, not enough thrill for people with a 2 sec. attention span. Every decent rc car nowadays is fast, action movies of intentionally sending & slamming them until they break bore me to death..
Dont understand it either. I use a german rc/model building forum very frequently and channels like razor rc, Ryan Harris and/or aussie rc playground are quoted and discussed quite often while talbot&co are rather frowned upon. But the majority of ppl seemingly want to be entertained with stupid nonsense because they most of the time don't have the money to purposely destroy their cheap ass crap and so want to see others do this for them.
Damn watch so many of your videos and always forgot to subscribe, until now. I really appreciate your long running videos and in depth reviews without over-the-top bs. Your really offer a lot of valuable information that helps to make a decision wether to buy a certain car or not. The Quantum2 is a really good car obviously, looks like a good package without any major flaws.
I'm amazed how this truck handles the hard treatment you gave him. It's an absolute beast, especially if you compare it to the first Quantum... This truck could really HPI to get back in proper business. Nice job once again, keep it up!
I kinda like the taller "classic" monster truck body this has, the super sleek bashers we have now like the rustler or vortex look fantastic but don't really evoke much of a "truck" look
Nice land. Huge fan of hpi / maverick rc cars. Having all of the off-road 3s range, on road 4s range and last purchase was the maverick quantum flux rx rally 4s wich is a seriously nice handling car, "of course when diffs and shocks have been done " only downside is the flimsy body shell but easy to reinforce. Not sure on the look of this body shell style. Nice vid
I think you may have just sold me on this truck. Had the previous Quantum and broke it nearly every run, seeing how tough this is makes me happy. Great to see you nailing some back flips as it previously looked quite nose heavy, seems that suspension tweak and a bit more wheel speed frees it up to flip!
i have a question ! maybe you can help me , can you give me the measurements for the reciever box and batery tray from the Maverick quantum 2 flux mt? i will really apreciated , im looking for a project. Thanks a lot !❤
@@AussieRCPlayground definitely worth trying! Just don’t go to big. Keep us posted, I like the look of these! Love my HPI. Cheers for the content mate Gday from Tas.
Cool looking tough nut , can certainly take a punch . Definitely running better now . Let us know what damage has happened to the diffs and how easy to repair ( video?) . Thanks for taking the time to show us this truck , great stuff Vas .
I'm really on the fence between this one or a Gorgon. Sounds weird maybe but I think although the Gorgon is RWD it looks like handling wise it might beat this 4x4. However it needs a brushless upgrade from the get go. But then 😈👹💨
@@AussieRCPlayground Both diffs are missing teeth after for 4 runs of light bashing with mine. This truck should not be advertised as being tough, because it is definately not...
Hard to fathom how this great R/C channels been around for so long and still hasn’t reached 100,000 subscribers, definitely deserves a whole lot more.
Wow, thank you! 🤜🤛

@AsurasWrath164 you hit the nail on the head. Exactly what I thought to.

Thank you so much for the kind words and welcome to the channel, finally. 😁 Very much appreciated the support. 🤜🤛

Seriously!! I totally feel you on this!
Looks pretty close buddy maybe just slightly bigger holes in the Pistons
14:50, that landing was clean af
Thanks for the video. Still wondering if I i made the right decision passing on this truck for another. It looks like quite a good vehicle.

You just keep making the best videos ever Vas. Legend.
Thank you Peter, very much appreciated. 😊👍
Mega nice 😍😍😍👍🏻
This or rival mt 10?
What part of the diff ended up to be broken and were you able to fix it?
You say that some other people might do some shimming. What do you think they will be shimming?
Nice spinaroonie at 17:23 😬🙃😎

What did you find out when you pulled it apart?
Cant wait to get one!
How does the diffs hold up and can u get replacement when they wear out ??
Not sure where is the best place to ask you a Q on older cars, but sent you message on your FB page , hope you see it.
Wow!!! Quiero uno !!!
abit bouncy but it kinda looked good for a nice priced rc..it ate the bad landings
you could try and drill out the pistons holes 1 size
As I was editing this I thought of the same thing... You might be onto something. 😉

Would a 60c 3s battery be okay in this it’s a badger ic5 5000mha
Is there a better option like a mt10 or is this the best for the money? Thank you!
I think this is considerably cheaper, like 100 bucks/quid cheaper. It's the same money as the brushed options from a lot of other manufacturers.

Rival MT10 vs Maverick Q2 ?
I will try to make that happen.

That price point tho
What scale is it bro?
1/10th, same wheelbase as the Rival MT10
Correct. It's 1/10 scale.
