HOW TO MAKE SHIRATAMA DANGO:
100g shiratamako
100ml water
1 tablespoon matcha
1 tablespoon sugar
1. Bring water to a boil.
2. Combine shiratamako, sugar and matcha.
3. Add water and mix until it reaches an earlobe-like texture.
4. Form them into small disks.
5. Drop them into boiling water. Once they float on the surface, they're done!
6. Enjoy!

In the early 2000s Japan had parfaits with a ton of layers alternating with softo cream and other stuff. at least 3 layers. I had one in Hiroshima that was really fruity and tropical with blue syrup. :D
