My two favorites are “Last Train” and “Shot in the dark”. Love that chorus sound. Chorus is my favorite modulation. This is why I suggest again “The 80’s” as the name for that pedal you’re working on. Can wait to see it.

Hey Brad, Always good to hear from Jackson Audio. Praise God for His provision. I love pedals and I absolutely love my JA pedals - prism, golden boy, broken arrow , Bloom v2, El Quapo and of course my Jackson Ampworks New Castle 30. Super excited about the new chorus pedal!! On a side note, I recently bought a 1x12 cabinet with a Celestion “A” type speaker. It sounds great paired with the New Castle 30. I so appreciate what you, Juan and the entire team are doing to bring us these wonderful tools. Have a great day!

“Shouldn’t Matter but it Does” is a dagger of a song on Sob Rock, just hits me down to the core. The music sounds like the idea, lyrics are clever and presented with exceptional realism, and it is one of the saddest/melancholy songs I have ever heard. It feels like a continuation of the idea behind his song “Never on the Day You Leave”.
I like how on “Carry me Away” it seems more guitar driven and they added the real drum performance. Aaron Sterling (drums) is the man, so yeah, it’s wasteful not to use that talent on every track.
There is a lot of major progressions meeting blues pentatonic scales on the album, which can sound like it is outside the vibe of the song on just a few of them, but Mayer likes to experiment with the psychology of music, how it hits people, and “can I take this and produce this type of emotion/color?”
Awesome ZZ Top story, very cool!

Favourite Tracks - Shot in the Dark and Til the right one comes. So very 80's... They feel like an amalgamation of the entire 80's!!

I can’t wait for that chorus pedal to be released! I do have 2 questions though. One, would u guys at Jackson Audio ever consider making bass specific pedals in the future? And would u guys ever try bridging your amp designs with pedals and make a tube based preamp pedal?

On the JM Sob Rock record - music.apple.com/us/album/all-i-want-is-to-be-with-you/1568819304?i=1568819889.
I was really sick of modulation pedals for a long time, but somehow that sound is coming back in favor in a nostalgic way. Like the MXR Flanger for instance. I’m looking forward to the Jackson Chorus pedal. Having the Bloom and Golden Boy has proven the thoughtful design capabilities of the Jackson team. Thanks and keep up the high standards in sound and manufacturing.

Wild Blue is hand's down the best song on SOB Rock. When I first heard the album, I wasn't crazy about it as a whole, but through my wife and girls' constant SOB Rock bombardment -- I've come to accept (borderline, even like) it.
As a whole, I think the album lacks focus and continuity. "New Light" and "I Guess I Just Feel Like" aren't new cuts and they seem like filler material for the record.
"Last Train Home" could've been on Clapton's August.
