Hi Brad, I am an EE who is working on the the design of a new wireless audio product. It has a fairly complex digital audio signal path. What I have found is that it is critical to have the MCU generate a low jitter, synchronous I2S - MCLK, SCK, WS architecture through the digital audio path. The important detail is to keep these signals synchronous to address the issue of audio artifacts. Let me know if I can help. Love your products and YT channel.
