I got a micro climate jacket last October and I’ve been wearing it on 99% of my rides since then, it’s the best jacket I ever had. Hope you’ll like their products!
What kind of items are o.k. for storing in the leg-pockets of a cargo-bib? Do you really ride with the GoPro in that pocket? I would think I gets really annoying with something like that moving up and down on your muscle the whole time. Especially on gravel/bumpy roads. Great to see how Ornot is dealing with the environment.
How does the fit of the bibs compare to Velocio’s? I love Velocio as a brand and the garments I own by them, but admittedly I can’t say the bibs have been the best. Even after sizing up I found them to tight in the “sensitive areas”, and that was even after keeping in mind they recommend you judge the fit while sitting on the bike. Ornot seem like a great brand, and I look forward to see your take. Great content as always.
Hi JD, What Velocio bibs did you have? I was able to ride in the Ornot bibs this past weekend (Shortish ride) and noticed the difference in chamois to be quiet nice. I do think I will be able to note more in the full review as a fresh Chamois is usually different after a few rides and cold washes in the laundry. I'll make sure to note this in my review further down the line. Cheers!
I can confirm that the micro climate jacket is absolutely awesome, I had the first one, and then just got the recent one. its my favorite jacket and I wear it all the time.
I love how you highlight companies focusing on sustainability. Also, the Ornot aesthetic and branding is SO good.
