The bike clothes that don't look like bike clothes and the mostly made in California aspects are really appreciated. I love everything I've purchased from them.
Casual cover shorts over bibbs - definitely want this. Matt's proposal of casual looking bibbs I would definitely buy! The mtb style bibb shorts with tech shorts over work fine but I prefer the feel of a full bibb.
I like their drop tail women’s bibs, and their merino thermal long sleeve jerseys. Also great customer service. I had an issue with the merino jersey getting holes at the tacking on the pockets. They repaired it no problem.
Great post! Very perceptive. It might be interesting for your viewers to see a chart comparing OSB prices to plywood. Now THAT’S been a wild one. OSB prices have dropped a ton in recent weeks while plywood prices remain historically high.
I would like to see some jerseys made for people that are not super skinny and have an athletic muscular build, larger arm diameter and chest while still being slim at the waist.
It’s not hard to have cycling clothing custom made bespoke to your size. If the clothing brand runs their own local manufacturing. A tailor would take your measurements, cut the fabric and sew it all together. The cycling clothing industry mostly operate through outsourced manufacturing to China. That’s why there’s not much choice when it comes to sizing. The factory already have a set catalog of standard pattern design. You just need to send them a graphic design and select the fabric. Then they’ll do a product run of your order.
I have one of their vests. It's the best vest I've ever had. Really looking forward to their take on the button up shirt. I just tried the Search and State shirt and it's ok, but too much money.
Carbon offsetting is a problematic fallacy. While the intentions are there, offsetting does not help in the long run as companies and people are still operating in ‘business as usual’ mode. Therefore, not really contributing to a more responsible capitalism- if that is even possible. The global society has to talk about degrowth and reduce blind consumerism.
True it’s all nonsense ! As a consumer you should research who you buy from , best tip is if they are on the stock exchange their only interested in pleasing stockholders not customers and if it’s made in China it’s a given there’s no ethics for the employees

Ornot is just the best and I love them even more after this video. 💜
as a slightly portly, casual cyclist i am looking forward to the baggy bib shorts - great interview -big fan of Matt and all of his crew at Ornot
I followed the same path from skateboarding to riding. Very cool interview.
I remember racing against Matt in the Muscle Milk kit!!
The cargo bibs are the best bibs I own. And I have a couple other more expensive branded bibs. Love the side pockets, and the chamois is phenomenal.

Love their products!
This was really cool. I have three shorts, a pant and a tee. Great stuff. Thanks for the interview.
Edit: I forgot I just purchased a jacket.

I have several of their shorts, padded bib shorts, jerseys, and a pair of mission pants. All great stuff.
I bought my first bar bag from them and I really like it. It’s very small and looks good on a road bike. I’ve had it for 5 years now.

Now that RH and Chrome aren't making lightweight knickers anymore... please? I want knicks!
Have one of their casual shorts...not bad.
