Explaining the ratio helped a lot! Thanks so much

You should wait until they are completely cooled before capping the jars. To prevent condensation and water dripping into the salve.

    God bless you sweetheart 🙏
Thank you for your lovely little recipe 👍 I get eczema and have quite a damaged sensitive skin because very strong of wrongly prescribed cortisone creams and other things too . I know everyone’s skin reacts differently and ingredients are highly favoured by some sufferers that help that can set off terrible reactions in others . I’m not terribly good at the measurements like you are !.. but I’d just like to share what helps my skin ...I use it on my face as well 👍 I melt the bees wax first as the base as you do 😉then I add 1 teas high potency Manuka honey .. take off heat stir well . Then stir in quickly while still warm Argan , Rosehip, Olive oils and Rose Essential oil at the end . Hope this might help someone else too 🤗

I'm going to make this. I currently use a product that is $25 for a small container. It lasts a while, but I use it for lots of uses for healing and to remove eye makeup. I purchased all the ingredients for my mix...shea butter, beeswax, pomegranate oil and I always have EVOO...this should save me so much since I got a lot fo ingredients for about the cost of the ready made beeswax lotion I buy. Thank you!!!

Once you get a scale and their cheap at Walmart, you won’t go back to old fashion measuring.👍

I do have a scale now, yay! Though I still find that for the small amounts of salve I tend to make, just measuring by spoon is good enough. A game changer for me was getting peletted beeswax!

Thanks for posting this. I'm going to try adding shea butter to my own recipe of beeswax and coconut oil. The ratios are always tricky because I eyeball the ingredients.

Thank you for showing your process :) also I'd pour into the tin when it is set on down. This way you don't spill and accidentally burn yourself. (I ha e done this once and it hurt a lot). I'm looking forward to your other videos too!

Awesome! I like the consistency a little thicker for a lipbalm. Appreciate the theory! Thanks for the video! :)

Thanks so much for the details and posting this video. I also use the double-boiler method and find it easier to place a Pyrex container directly into the pot of water (instead of a metal bowl) - less chance of burning yourself as it's hands free and the spout allows you to pour the melted ingredients easily into the tins. :-)

I wanted to make the same mixture with mango butter and olive oil. First is it super greasy cause I’m trying to have something like working hands, it’s moisturizing but non greasy. Is this greasy? Also did you need to put preservatives at all?

Dont put the lid on right away your adding condensation which is mositure without and preserving ingredients and allowing bacteria growth

The tea tree oil will positively without all doubt kill any microbes ! I’m an Aussie and know about this native oil here and all its potent uses. Also if you also add 1 teas of high potency Manuka honey you’ll have extra healing and more top protection

There was no water in the mixture therefore no water that could vaporize or condense. She did everything right. For safety's sake she should perhaps be leaving the containers on the counter while pouring, but otherwise this looks perfect.

There's no water in the recipe so no water that could vaporize or condense. She did everything right. There's no need for any preservative in a balm.

When a recipe calls for 1 tablspoon beeswax, theyre referring to melted beeswax... Flaked beeswax, like flaked soy wax, fills TWICE the size of its melted beeswax, so technically in this recipe you added half a tablespoon of beeswax, not 1.
