There is also a mod for both Galaxy games that allows use of the Classic Controller, which is what I used. Worked perfectly except for some issues with long-jumping, though I doubt it would be that hard to fix.

So on fluzzard, you use the right stick, and you have to remember that it maps to tilting the wiimote.
So there is a learning curve, but I think that's appropriate since there was a learning curve to play by tilting the wiimote.

small correction at minute 10:25 you put "SMG" but the input profile is called "smg" this is importent because if you don't type it exactly the same way the profile won't get automaticly loaded
this is perfect the only problem i have is the mouse stays on the screen when i move the trackpad
how did you disable the default hotkey where emudeck forces the emulated wii remote shake to be mapped to the l2 trigger?

Question: I do have major issue with the sound it almost makes my steam deck speakers break and i'm not sure why... I saw someone else having the same issue and im wondering if you encountered anything likewise?
I've noticed a little bit of crackling usually shortly after I load the game. It's only a very minor annoyance, so probably not the same issue as you.
I'm well outside of my expertise here, but if you install decky loader and power tools, you want to turn the threads down to 3 for emulated games like this. Look up cryobyte33 RUclips channel. He explains some of these technical adjustments pretty well
Have you checked the FPS? The sound breaks down if it drops below 60 fps.
For some reason I'm unable to change the properties for the game. Keep in mind I'm using Dophin Emulator without Emudeck
I know the Emudeck does do some default setup for Dolphin, so without that, I don't know what may be different.
I would suggest you try editing the properties from desktop mode if you haven't already. You may just not have a default external editor set up. I'm not sure what else to try though.

My right joystick is also controlling the pointer as well as tilt, but I just want it to control tilt, does anyone know how to fix this?

The left stick to move for some reason is not very responsive its mapped correctly i don't understand what is wrong only issue im having
Any idea how to fix the in-game curser from not reaching the far right and bottom sides of the screen? Ive recalibrated it about a hundred times, but to no avail apparently
For me, if I move the right stick up while playing (which is mapped to the Wii mote tilt) that fixes this problem.
I’m stuggling. Why do you have to use virtual core pointer, and how do you get the sticks to be recognized and mapped to tilt controls and movement? When I open the menu, the inputs don’t do anything.

It defiantly wasn't right. At the time i made this video, I was messing around with something that didn't really work. But since then, I discovered a decky plug in called "PlayTime" that works quite well.
Will this work on Galaxy 1 as well?
Yes, the same controls should work.
everytime i try to use the trackpad for the cursor it doesnt work i have rewatched the video countless times and it just doesnt want to work can anyone help

When I set up dolphin using emudeck, it set that up as an option, so I don’t know the details.
I’ve heard that emudeck is having problems recently, so until they fix that, it may be had to make this work right.

Can you share the SMG config file for download?
So I’ve seen a few people ask something similar, but I’m afraid I don’t know how. I might try to figure it out since there’s obviously interest.

Why is there vignette?
In the Super Mario Galaxy games, this effect is present when playing a prankster comet level. Perhaps I should have chosen a different level for the demo, but this is the intended appearance.

This is overly complicated. Just download and use my community layout. It's set up to work with default EmuDeck settings and mimics the control scheme of Super Mario 3D All-Stars on Switch (including gyro cursor).
How and where can I download it?
I also need control setup for GC and also save and load options.

You can't just say download my layout and don't give specifics. Tell us what to do
