    That officer holding the color in the beginning is gorgeous..what a handsome clean cut man in uniform. What a splendid show of highly trained uniformity. Princess Catherine is so pretty and poised. All the royal women looked beautiful in the pale or white dresses. Wonderful seeing Queen Elizabeth together with her husband again…. They are missed. 70 years is a long time. No where else in the world is grander than Britains Trooping the color ceremonial.

Just pure commands of the officers and the adjuntants and pure music of the massed bands, another great masterpiece of the guards trooping their colour. The flaw never fades, and the dedication commited by this servicemen and women while their conducting the trooping the colour. Salute to the servicemen and women of the british army. • @e.chambers2973
      @e.chambers2973 Год назад

      That's a march by Thomas Bidgood who hailed from Woolwich, Kent, He is perhaps best remembered for his ever popular Sons of the Brave, another of his compositions. Given the significance the Battle of Vimy Ridge has in Canadian military history, Bidgood's march of the same name has, to some degree, been appropriated by Canadians. While he might even be pleased by that development, the origin of the Vimy Ridge march remains undeniably British to its core.

      My motto for embarrassing moments like this, is: If I don't think I can do a better job myself, then I have no right to judge others for it.

      Well noticed. At 42.18secs when the No 1 guard are advancing, and the massed bands are doing their first of 3 spin wheels in this trooping, a guardsman comes on parade and gives the Colour Sergeant his weapon. The guardsman leaves the square. If you notice, the colour Sergeant (at 42.33secs), is now holding the colour in his right hand, whilst holding his rifle in shoulder arms in his left hand. Once again, a great enquiry. Good eyes.
