Looks great , I have done something similar and found that using a router with a stop collar worked the best . I used the actual piece as a template . However this came out nice and clean so either way obviously works right ? Great job
Surprised you didn't do something trick around the fireplace. But then, anything can be done if they can pay for it. Bang-up job, boys. Looks like Bostiks Best on MVP. Thats a job well done.
+William Scott I am not sure what he did, he would have to eother do that or make all of those cuta with a jigsaw and pray for no tearout, then leave a 1/8th inch gap and fill it with grout caulking. Condidering that there is no gap and it is much easier to undercut it, he most likely undercut it.
Im always in speechless, when I see true finish carpenters in action. Nice work
Dang, that is nice work. A great example of what true professionals can do. As a DIYer I stand in awe of this sort of thing.
Really nice work. If it were unfinished it would be easier but it being pre-fineshed my respects for you guys I hope you had that in the budget.
Thats fantastic, the people who did mine rushed it and now im starting to see huge gaps forming.
That is some really nice work. the detail is just great.
This floor still looks great. Even after all the parties.

They shouldnt be, although a high level of accuracy is required when cutting.
