In your videos when sailing you are over trimming your sails, especially in light air - and specifically for a Triton. In light air, Ease your main and come off the breeze a little. Set up a preventer to keep the boom from moving around too much. Finally, you need to fully hoist your headsail. The luff should taught but not too tight.
Keep up the good work! The Triton is a very predicable and forgiving sailor so you can almost do no wrong - but there are better ways even with an easy going boat like the Triton. At best the Triton will sail to about 45 degrees to weather but will sail much better by coming down a few degrees and easing off the sheets letting the take on her 15 degree heel and stretch out her waterline - especially if loaded down for cruising. (try not to store heavy gear forward of the 2nd bulk head). The helm will also lighten up and you will feel her find the groove of her predictable abilities.
Videos like this are my happy place.
Glad to hear that. Thanks

I’m jealous of the extra couple feet 🤣 but the Triton is a great boat.
