- Construction crews have placed a ton of new supports / track for SeaWorld Orlando's Pipeline The Surf Coaster layout over the last 2 days and they're getting ready to install a crazy amount more! All the prep work is just about done for the high-speed turns, and we expect that portion of the ride to be complete sometime next week!

I think this is going to be the sleeper hit of 2023. I know a lot of people don't like the trains, but I think after opening, their minds will change.

Based on how fast they are putting up the coaster do you think that it will open a little sooner than expected? Also, that baby support is the funniest roller coaster related thing I have ever seen 😂. Thanks for the update Dan.
Initial construction is always fast. They still have to test the electronics, sensors and calibrate the system for the most optimal performance.

Is/was there a secret surf coaster somewhere, that gave them a chance to test out the new type of trains before committing to such a high profile installation? Stand-up coasters have such bad reputation, it’s hard to believe they would have gone ahead with this without first making sure that the new format trains really delivered as intended.
Say the standup 2.0 thing doesn’t work out, do you think they have the clearance to transition to a wing coaster? Obviously with modifications to the station/break run.
Theoretically...yes. They could make it happen...other than the station / a few clearance issues. Money solves those issues.
