I think the words "Bonus Track" means "One of the best songs on the album". I've seen bands do the bonus tracks alot and usually they are really good songs.

@personelcomputer I love old Sonata Arctica and new Sonata Arctica. Tony writes and composes all of the music for the band, and he says he doesn't enjoy writing fast music anymore. I think the great thing about SA is that their music is crafted with love, and I wouldn't want to see them forcing themselves to play a style they don't enjoy anymore. My favourites are: Last Drop Falls, The Dead Skin, Juliet, Unopened, Victoria's Secret, Respect The Wilderness & White Peal Black Oceans. :-)

I had previously posted this track and it was taken down by Nuclear Blast. I hope yours stays up because it's a really great song and it's unfortunate that those outside the US and Japan can't hear it without importing another CD.

wow these 2 bonus tracks really fill out what everyone seemed to be missing since unia (well apart from the harvest).
I don't say the albums were bad, au contraire, they are really awesomely brilliant. However it is nice to hear SA make a song like these 2 every now and then again. I missed this sound :)

Yeah, that's correct. The bonus songs are on Japanese manufactured CD's to stop people buying them from overseas for cheaper.

Infelizmente eles não fizeram música nessa pegada. Mais seria top um álbum inteiro no estilo dessa música, com um som pesado e obscuro e o refrão melódico.

Why is this only a bonus track? I hadn't even heard it until today and TDOG is one of my all-time favourite albums! This song is definitely good enough to be a regular track on the album. Maybe the verses aren't so nice, but the chorus and intro are so damn catchy!

@personelcomputer I've heard that the bonus songs exist because CDs are really expensive in Japan, so they need the 2-3 extra songs as a temptation to buy the CD! :D And the songs are usually those which don't fit to the original songlist for some reason.

All bonus tracks are usually on the Japanese Versions. You can easily import them, but they're quite expensive.
Is he talking about an animal? Most likely a dog or a wolf, and the giant is the man who it lives with or something like that. He talks about the way the animals seems to read our minds and obey, like they respect something about us. But then he say that the animal is not a child and talk about their instincts and nature, wich can't be tamed by the humans. The howling part kind of give it away, i guess... (sorry about any spelling mistakes, I'm brazilian and not that good with english xD)

@MetalMiklos Tony writes, with a few exeptions, all of their lyrics and songs. He's just trying to change their sound so all their albums dont sound the same. Try to keep an open mind about it

I'm French and my favorite songs are San Sebastian, The Cage, Destruction Preventer an My Selene cause I love awesome solos like only good Power Metal bands can do, and actually, I'm very sad to miss these great songs after owning this album...
@ROONTANG I didn't say I do not like new SA. I love the way Tony Kakko writes the songs, and if they change their style, there's no matter, I know with Tony as composer, the songs will be good ^^ I'm just sad to see that when I buy an album, I don't have all the songs Tony wrote for it. And actually, I don't understand why... Does it cost more to put three more songs on an album ?

Oh this song is amazing, but it's a bonus...
3 people had an aneurysm because the music was, just too incredible. And as their face hit the keyboard, it accidentally knocked over their glass of coke, which clicked on the dislike button, just moments before they meant to click the like button. Seems unlikely, but hey, i don't make the rules.
@Wolfeye204 well some bands do that. usually they put covers, some different songs and worse songs to bonus tracks. nothing more is henkka's and that's why it's a bonus track

I dont really like the idea that some songs are on not the CDs on europe. Ive been trying to find these songs for years. I could just simply download them but i dont want to. Been fan of the band for many years and i really really want the albums with these songs...

@ANTTU24 He did not write it all in cain's offering, he Co-wrote with Kotipelto and everybody in the band threw in ideas.
It's definitely getting up there for me. I've already cycled through absolutely loving each bonus track. However, 'the last amazing grays', 'the dead skin', and 'juliet' still give this a good run for top song.
