How To Replace a Hatch on a Mk6 GTI

With the help of JB, I replace the hatch with rust with a hatch that I restored the paint on and no rust. I havnt seen a video on RUclips showing how to replace the whole hatch so hope this helps someone out there. If it does. Drop a Like!

i just replaced my hatch on my mk6 the other day and now the hatch isn't lining up properly, did yall do anything specific to get the hatch lined up just right?

We didn't have to do anything special to line it up. The bolt holes didn't have any room to move. It just went straight through. Not sure what isn't exactly lining up but if it is the striker not locking then you may be able to adjust that part
