Hey I insulated the inside top of mine and sheeted it. Also installed LED strip lighting which is powered by a recessed (in the floor) battery. In the front triangle area, I built upper cabinets and shelving below. Also I used those metal strip brackets on the floor and one side. Very versatile and you can change things up with them. Also installed adjustable hook brackets on each side for clothing, gear, helmets, etc. And lastly I built a fold down bench for sitting and putting my boots on. It folds flat against the wall when not in use. Good luck with your build!
5:25 good job Jeff, doing the hard work of filming, and you let B unit have the easy work of just rolling and brushing on some paint. Your man treats you right B unit!
The water tank, because of the weight, should be at least over the axles or just forward of them. Too much weight on the back of the trailer will make it unstable when driving.
Don't forget to take in consideration the front to back and side to side weight distribution in the trailer. I would install a rectangle shape water tank and move it close to or over the axels if possible.
No southwick this year.. bummed I can’t see you on the ktm. I see hella haters about “mommy:daddy money. Disregard them, you’re burning race fuel and grinding. Keep entering everything you can. Money and the size of rig does not matter. Chin up keep thumping ! Ktm 👍🏼
use your left over rubber flooring as a baseboard, it'll clean up better than the white painted surface. Black caulking at that joint will make it look clean and seamless. enjoy your build.
Hey jeff you can get a rectangle water tanke and bolt it to the bottom of the trailer and then have an outlet on the side or hook up a little pump to pump the water if you have enough ground clearance
I would use caulking instead of quarter round. Black would be ideal. Makes a water tight seal so you can pressure wash your trailer. You can do both but quarter round is fragile.
Make sure you have a spare tire, jack that works with your trailer and something to get lugs off. If you carry in impact just get the correct impact socket. Four will obviously work.

@@motobrostv1761 idk where your looking because up here in Michigan a halfway decent one in need of tires is $2,500+. Ya might as well buy new for 5k. Hence why I just bought a 30ft schoolbus for 2k 😎🏁
Love the flooring! Have you considered sealing the edges with clear silicone, so that if there are any spills there is no way of the moisture getting underneath the rubber?
Nice dude, guys this dude listens to his fans thanks Jeff love this and love how it kind of gives us a different look at your personality without the inherent stresses of moto... super cool thanks guys and can't forget #teambridge
I got a single axle 6x12 because im pulling with a V6, fits my microsprint with about 900lbs to spare capacity wise. But I didn't really plan in my head the weight from tools, cabinets, etc. How much does that flooring roll weigh? I've seen rolls that were 150lbs before I gotta be careful with my weight lol
Sucks that a lot of us, won’t be able to come and see you in person at the Nationals this year. But, if I can’t make it to Springcreek this year, I’ll be rooting for you from my couch.
Great video I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the space, have considered weight distribution, especially having to much weight behind the rear axel can make the trailer fish tail.
Yo was this your only trailer vid? I cant find the rest. thanks for the vid though sick channel m 5 year old races a ktm 50 pro sr and im in the middle of converting out trailer like this into his race trailer
Rubber mats are slippery when wet. Defintely not a good idea for the ramp. Using truck bedliner is also popular and it can be sprayed on, rollered on and brushed onto the floor and the wall's bottom tirm. At the mating joint area between the wall and floor the bedliner stuff will seal that gap and I have seen people water hose or gently power wash the floor and not have to worry about water getting into the floor or walls.
Nice before and after!!! Looking to put down vinyl flooring on my enclosed trailer too; curious as to whether to weather proof paint floor beforehand or whether laying flooring would cause floor to warp because moisture can’t escape.
Does it have a roof vent? If not, it might be a good add on to do. Also, vents in the helmet/boot cabinet so they don't get all hot and stanky. 😄 looking buttery good job
Seen somewhere low profile water tanks that a guy was able to mount under the trailer so that it didn't cut into the interior room. Bonus of filling it and not worrying about spilling too much water inside the trailer. The low profile tanks spread the weight distribution over a large area (mounted horizontally) so I think you don't have to worry much about the placement other than physical fitment. I'm thinking about buying a trailer and doing the same, so I'd really like to see you figure it out! Heard some pressure washers don''t like the low height of the water inlet though for priming purposes maybe.
I just got my trailer and the floor is well used and dirty, so I’m thinking rubber mat. How has this held up to dirtbike duty? Kickstands and tires haven’t damaged the mat? Thanks!
I would just caulk the edges with silicone instead of the 1/4 round. That way no water can penetrate. Put a bead down and spray it with windex and wipe it with a sponge for a perfect bead.
Jeff Walker Ayo chill math’s my worst subject!🤘🏻 good luck at lorettas bro , I know another privateer headed down as well. Finish strong for the #orangebrigade
It’s actually from my power washer! I was holding my boot with my left hand and holding the wand with my right hand. Accidentally hit my left wrist with the jet stream. Crazy the damage that water can do at that velocity!
@@JeffWalker84 Holy moly, Better that than riding, I guess. Trailer should turn out nice. One wall, "JWalk" another wall, "B-Unit". Front wall, Ma&Pa-Walk"
Insulate the roof at a minimum, any 3/4 to 1 inch foam board will do. Cut it nice and tight, then use foil HVAC tape for the seams. The hard part is putting up some paneling on the ceiling after insulation, but its worth it once you note the difference in temp radiating on your head during the summer sun

Def want to use an adhesive for the flooring. I did.
You should insulate the roof/ceiling & the put some kind of paneling over it to make a nice ceiling. Try to keep some of the heat down.
