There's two reasons. The first, and lesser reason, is that the sleeves are much larger. The major reason is because it has it so that all of the fabric is lying in the same direction. It's a small detail and not really necessary to do, but it does make it look a tad bit nicer and more professionally done.
This pattern and video worked SO well!! I made a robe for halloween and it is perfect!!!!!! 😆
this makes me so happy to read ❤️ have fun !!!

This is amazing. Makes me wonder why the Simplicity pattern calls for so much fabric.

What we’re the measurements? I have to make some robes for my friends and I and I’m so excited
Hello. That’s so exciting! You can find the pattern for the robe in my etsy store. The link is in the description :)
What are the measurements?
It’s soo cool!
How did you saw the sleeves and the hood that it looks good?
Thx so much for that diy!! Just saved me♥️
Very awesome!!!
Hey. So do i have to cut out two seperate pieces for the hood (in each color) or do i just fold the fabric and the cut out one piece?
hello. For each color you fold the fabric for the hood and cut it out, so you have just one hood piece in each color.
When you added the sleeves, did you stitch the wrist parts of the black and green fabric together before you turned it right side out or after?
Hej Lynn. No I didn‘t. I don‘t think it‘s necessary. Let me know if you have any other questions :)
how much yardage of fabric? i bought the pattern, but can't figure out how many yards of fabric i need.
hey! thanks a lot. you will need 4yards. :)
@@SasaMaki i posted a pic on insta today!
I'm so confused how to get the back piece
Hi. it’s the same piece like the front, you just put the fabric on fold instead of cutting out two pieces
so you trace it on a piece of folded fabric?@@SasaMaki
So nice!!!
I want to make a robe but the only thing I have is a cape without sleeves and idk if I can make them :/
How much fabric of each do I need
hey! you should be good with 4yards each :)
@@SasaMaki so 16 yards if I’m making two?
@@madisonpruden4611 yes. if you are making two, 8yards of each color :)
@@SasaMaki what if my friend is bigger will it fit him?
@@madisonpruden4611 it depends on the person itself of course but i used this pattern for so many different body types :)
Why does the pattern cost
thank you!
😁
