@@TattsForLife - Yes, like the hyper-stupid 5X135 on the early 2000's F-150...... the best selling truck in the country. Ford engineers must have been on acid or post-partuming or something. There are almost NO aftermarket wheels for this pattern. Curse you, Ford.
No, I don't think wheel spacers are safe, but higher quality ones seem to hold up, sometimes they no other options for a certain style rim in a certain lug pattern so people use spacers
I don't have that much faith in those little allen head bolts. The sheer strength of those bolts wouldn't survive one pothole. The rim isn't being supported by the center bore or anything, just those 6 tiny bolts.
In ky they hit a pot hole every few feet lol, but I agree with you I would not do anything like tow or go off road with the spacers, I ended up swaping the rearend to a factory 6 lug one
this set if working good, the small bolts tend to round off if over tighten and that makes them a pain to take on and off if you need to replace brakes
I agree, wheel spacers can be dangerous, why you always got to keep a check on your wheel spacers, and why most all wheel spacers are off road use only
Leaf spring shackle will pick that right up! 40 dollar fix. Great work 👏
Thanks for watching
Thanks for the information in the Allen bolts. Seems low 55 ft/lb but it is steel to aluminum. Thank you.
Welcome
Reminds me of a 19 year old in his dads Cummins from 99, with 20 inch offsets
Elmer fudd making car videos got tired of chasing bugs bunny
🤣
I didn’t hear it at first…but now I can’t un-hear it now😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
"Shhh. Be vewy vewy quiet, I'm hunting wabbits"
Where Website bro I want order
This set was bought used off of ebay, I dont have their website, but I do have better videos of the adapters uploaded on my channel
How is it driving in the highway? And steering vibration?
None when we was driving it
How much do they stick out?
I say around 6 inch, give or take
I have 6 lugs but mines a Dakota there’s no good picks for wheels
and wheels can make a ride, I hate not being able to pick nice wheels due to a bolt pattern

Would you say it safe to use on a day-to-day basis not necessarily for off-roading

How’s it holding up?
We changed the rear-end to a 6 lug and traded the suv off a few months ago, last time I seen it the adapters was still holding up on the front

How do I remove those Allen screws? It's tough to do so... impact strips them and to much elbow grease tends to strip em also or not even budge them
Thank you for the video. 👍🏽
Glad it was helpful!
What’s the link to the spacers
Is it safe
Off road use only they say
hey can i get an update on how this is going? i am looking to put these on my truck. thank you
Still working fine, drive the suv daily no issues yet
Anybody know where I can get them same Allen bolts on the adapters. I’m rebuilding my suspension and stripped a couple with how rusty they got
I’m thinking I might as well just get another set of adapters but my pockets already hurting if anybody could help me out🤣
Is it safe for long travels after putting those?
I hope so lol 😆 😅 We been on some long road trips and even pulled a few cars with them installed
@@TattsForLife thank you for the reply man, been indecisive about them

Got a link for the adaptor kit 🙏
sorry, I do not
Hi. What website did you get those at?
Found them used on eBay, but I found a few sets on a few different sites using that part number off the mounts
Who can buy this part, especially for 1985 Chevrolet c10 ????
I don’t like this idea! Does anybody do this the correct way…swapping out the rear end and front rotors for 6 lug?
I do lol we done swapped the rearend to 6 lug
Isn’t hard get a rear drop yours out throw the new one in when you get the front hubs get the 2500 light duty hubs they are interchangeable
Just change the axle much safer
@stevepage992 agreed
@@TattsForLifemore money jaja
Elmer fud ? Lol
😅
This is awful and very dangerous.
