the company i work for takes war photo and video so curious to watch this movie even tho i heard the story was kinda mess

The details of what actually led to the war are kept intentionally vague, and I think that will frustrate some people (I think it was done to make sure the focus was more on the horror of the moment and to make the movie a "warning" for what's possible if people don't make an effort to listen). I didn't fully jive with something that happens at the very end of the movie, but I also understand why it was written in the way that it was. So--no spoilers from me!--I can see why some people might find the story kind of scattershot, but I think there was intentionality behind that decision.
