This is a wonderful series and I absolutely adore it. I began my journey last year and the games are wonderful. Hopefully you will continue on with this series.
So I played this series since 2006 as a kid and when 5 came out I was sad because it was only ps3 and it wasn’t known to the world unless you rented the first game on ps2 somehow lol but then they made this as a comeback title and pulled all the stops to make this the reboot debut of the franchise. I cried because everyone would finally see a beautiful yet fucking hilarious game. I’m so proud of rgg developers. They killed it with this game and haven’t stopped since. I remember a friend of mine recommended me to try yakuza 0 and well I thought it was gonna be a crime thriller through n through but at the end of the game, I've come to realize that one moment you can have serious/ sad moments then it quickly changes to whacky and hilarious, I wont forget the miracle substory and the guy that tried to steal majima's pants 😂
Im so glad i picked up this series in 2023, started with Yakuza 0. Right now in september 2024 in still playing through the series, currently on Lost Judgment. This series is an absolute gem!!

Great video ,I've found out about the Yakuza games in late 2017 from watching a Twitch stream, then watched another full playthrough early 2018. Played Yakuza 0 on pc in 2018. Before that The Witcher 3 was my favorite game ever, 500 h played ,bought it twice on gog and steam, I love that game Now TW3 is out of my top 10 and 7 RGG games are in my top 10, I can't put into words how much I love this series, I've played Yakuza 0 every year since 2018 and ofc the other Yakuza games as they released on pc
The joy of seeing someone discover the yakuza series. I had the same reaction after playing my 1st yakuza game (y0). If you upgrade kiryu, the shakedown dude becomes your walking bank 🤣. Also, the 3 lieutenants are all popular japanese actors. The cabaret club girls are mostly actual JAV actresses, the arcade girl too 🤣 Tip: Don't skip the side stories (Hours played: 130+ 🤣)
This and Death Stranding are the few games that actually had me sobbing by the end. The entire Tachibana storyline kills me. Such a fantastic game. 💕 SU NA O NI I LOVE YOU 💕
Started playing the Yakuza series like 2-3 years ago when it started coming to Xbox and ever since then it has become my favorite game series! Every game has so much charm, fun, soul, plenty of minigames and even though it gets goofy, it doesn't shy away from telling sincere and often heartbreaking stories
I’m 60 hours in and just started last week. Such an insane game idk why I never played these before. I just hope Kiwami 1&2 deliver for me as I already have those downloaded.
