Kiryu is literally not human, the man can consistently tank everything they throw at him and at some point it stopped being plot armor and just straight up "you can't kill me"
Honestly I think it was kind of weird they did the intro this way. I feel like Ichobans main thing is muscle, but he lacks technique. I feel like a better intro would be Ichiban throwing a punch before Kiryu immediately counters it.
Look. I know Kiryu is the coolest dude ever, but Yagami flying out a window, grabbing the frame to swing back inside, then doing a sick slide over glass? That's rad.
Yagami got that move but Kiryu got that “menace” aura around his body. I love both of them. I like to see kiryu show his enemy that they’re just a punk meanwhile Yagami give us that Jet Lee and Jackie Chan stunt moves
