      thats why they are called shorts... if you have legs like a bird i can see why you would want to hide them.

    Dropping a tree that size is twice as hard, and twice as dangerous as anybody thinks.

      +magic mike "just one chainsaw" and a sawyer who knows very well what he's doing! Not to mention that a 395 is one beast of a saw! (Didja see the stream of chips?) Sharp chain: a BIG +.
      Very nice, precise cuts BTW.

    That won't make good firewood.. all those knots.. must be a logging out fit cuz the forest service puts limitations on wood cutting sizes.. I'm sure it varies from state to state, but in Oregon. U cud go to jail for cutting old growth, even a dead snag

  • @martiwoodchip4518
    @martiwoodchip4518 10 лет назад

    Wow that was a big pine tree. Why did you guys cut it down?, only because it was dead?. The woodpeckers would have used it as a nesting tree for many years along with eating all of the insects which live in and on dead trees. Why cut it down?.

    • @kazzm3533
      @kazzm3533 10 лет назад +2

      No woodpeckers in New Zealand. This is obviously a kiwi tree judging by the size..Have you ever seen a monterey pine that big?? I wouldn't imagine you have. Marti you should know dead trees rot out..My assumption is they cut it down cause it was a hazard.
