Clones have come a long way in the last couple of years. I remember people laughing at the harbor freight predator motors why they came out, now everyone has them🤣 I’m partial to the Neotec clones, mainly for their great service and their elite clone, the 72cc Stihl 038mag2 clone. I never thought I’d see a clone made and run as good as the OEM version. Thanks for sharing guys👍🏻
look at the close ups join the forums, watch reviews to see how well these clones hold up. some have good luck many are disappointed its luck of the draw as some seem to be good, while others fail. if your looking for a parts saw that you are able to restore or you want a hobby? then this type might be the challenge you are seeking. :)
@@mrtree1368 sometimes, but less and less now a days....some are 98% the quality of original....my opinion, owed 9 large stihls 25 years.....and been seeking good clones for 3 years....found the best now.
Folks would like it now they cloned the 395. But I cant do it, I have about 20ish pro saws which are all OEM. Everytime I've ever replaced a part with a cheap Chinese aftermarket part I've regretted it. OEM saws and parts are expensive perhaps too expensive but man I get 100's and 100's of hours out of a good OEM saw. You can get a new OEM 395 for about $1000 when they have the 20% off sale. I use saws daily for work so I just wouldn't be saving money buying an AM saw. They look cool though.
At close to 1/3-1/2 the cost of the real deal, I'd just buy oem to start with since a bunch of parts will have to get replaced. I ran a holzfforma saw last week and it ran real good. The owner said he has been using it for 3 years without problems. I have bought from farmertec before and the parts were garbage. The seals were 20 thou smaller than the bearings and they would not give a refund, so I went back to oem, regardless of cost. Having a cheaper option is great, but it has to be reliable.
I brought a 372 and it was a complete waste of money. They go ok but the muffler cracks out the back, the crank lets go the cylinders flake the chrome. I had the ring locater pin come out and destroy a saw the gudgeon pin clip come out and destroy a cylinder. The allen screws a soft and chew out real quick. Not had any trouble with the clutch. The list goes on but you get the picture.
Finally got myself a real 395xp just about 4 weeks ago. I am really really curious as to the rigidity of the materials the Chinese are using on these clones compared to the Husqvarnas. If these Holtzforma saws are in the same ball park as far as sustainability compared to the Husqy's then I will have to get myself a 372 clone.
I have a secret factory, no kidding, they make incredible professional grade 372, i have some pros using now 2 years daily....not one failure....thats no kidding, same on my 660s....neither are from FT/hlzfrma.
They were made in USA. I wish they still manufactured them. If so I would 100% be advertising and promoting them. I wish there was currently a USA made saw, but there is not one that I am aware of at this time.
I bought a made in China replacement carburetor for my Husky 372xp. I'm glad it doesn't have the same cheesy little high and low micro adjustment screws the Husqvarna original had. Twenty years of cussing didn't do them justice. Husqvarna doesn't trust me to adjust the carburetor on my own saw and I don't trust them enough to buy another one of theirs.
I do believe that your husky branded 395 was the bigger dogs since it was originally a full wrap handle because my husky 395 has the same dogs as your clone saw because my husky has originally came with the same handle bar as your clone
thanks for the video. Profit is made through exploitation of either natural resources or exploitation of the workforce, but SLAVE labor and pollution is something that is not an option for me. buying chinese items is the same as owning a slave, we might as well legalize slavery in this country, and keep all of the profit for ourselves, instead of supporting a communist country.

Which version of their 72CC 038's are you referring to?
@@jimmyboy95 there’s two models now. Neotec NS-872i and FarmMac F380
Curious as to how well these hold up. Fit/finish seems good. May just have to get one some day.

You basically need to know how to work on saws cause clone saws always need maintenance with little use that name brand saws don't need

They have gotten a lot better over the last half dozen years. My first g372xp was absolute garbage. Tried another one recently and it was way better.
Awesome saws! I own four big Farmertech saws!

Best part is husqvarna parts fit on them!
Look forward to seeing it in action. Then I may even order one.
Speaking of American saws is a McCullough an American made saw ? I don't know where they are made but I would guess China or maybe Japan

Yes the 394xp and 395xp had 2 different size felling spikes..smaller on the regular handlebar and thr bigger ones with a full wrap bar
What size can you get in the China saws and how can i get one in Newfoundland.
Those little combo cans look good for climbing. I don’t know but I think redmax is made in America
