Yeah, it looks like someone didn't glue down the bottom of that spider. Maybe it's to make for easier recone? But still, it should be glued to that ring better then.

i had a B2 Audio Swan 14000 watt amp hooked to them running at 1 ohm on each channel wired in series-parallel running in a properly ported 6th order wall build. Impedance with frequency is a function of the driver's TSP parameters and the enclosure. In case of a ported box the impedance rises when the port starts to stop loading the enclosure below or above the tuning of the box. As someone who understands some speaker driver engineering i really don't understand why the Spiders have to be that extremely stiff. When it's new out the box ok.. After hours of playing though? not so much. Even rock hard PA driver's are broken in after a few hours. Stiff suspension is good for some designs though not when they are so stiff that they eat energy and tear themselves off their mounting plate.

22mm one directions, 35 both
@@ParkerTheBasshead Why it is 35mm? What is the xmech on that Sub?
Would love to see a giveaway on either one of the bass 8k’s or that really nice deaf bonce 3012r I also think I good video could be a review of one of Deaf Bonce’s 35 or 45 series subs
Hey parker I love your videos I have a 15 inch to this sub they don't like under 32 hz and they are design to play in a small enclosure like the sundown u .my opinion on this sub is that it plays good but the only problem is that certain frequencies doesn't respond good on the sub and it's not really a everyday low bass driver
The u definitely isn't a low end sub but it is a great musical woofer
@@1-Six-deeI disagree the u sounds horrible on music it's more of a burp quality woofer
@@CompactAudiodesigns I have seen a lot of ppl like this woofer for a musical woofer but not man ppl keep then long because it has now lows
@@1-Six-dee I had this sub it does play low it plays down to 26 hz but why would u buy a spl sub to play lows it's not meant to do that it all goes back to people not knowing about music and how it works and what kinda bass they are looking for
@@CompactAudiodesigns 26hz isn't low to me. It may be to others. But the fs of this sub makes it great for Jazz and rock music that is why I say it is a pretty good musical sub
If I'm gonna pay $654,it's gonna be a sundown x series sub or some other line of sundown subs. Massive, emmm no
Exactly, or Savard subs looks pretty good too.
I had still have them boxed up these subs. I upgraded to fi audio and for $100 more per sub you get better quality custom made in Vegas instead of china, and get 1500 watts rms more.
Massive Audio Summo XL Series Rock sorry Budd
I support Parker
Hii Parker , i think you should try the Ice Power 812 from SA , rated at 4000w RMS :)
