I’m going to try installing them today I’m sure your video is going to come in clutch I just have two questions. Did you have to hook up the switch inside your car that turns them on and off? And also where would you hook up the yellow cable? I see you hook up the red to the fuse box but where does the yellow one go? Thanks for the vid 👌🏾

Fog lights come standard on BRZ limited trim models, so they work with my existing fog light switches. If you have an FRS or something that doesn’t normally have fog lights, you’d have to purchase a kit that includes a switch that you put inside the car. As for the yellow wire, you’d just have to locate a fuse or a switch that is suitable for what you want it to do. Whenever power is supplied to that yellow wire, the DRL will turn off. I wanted mine to always be on so I didn’t plug the yellow wire into anything.

      nice vid,
so my FRS has fog lights stock (2013), so to switch would be as easy as unplugging the old ones and plugging in the new ones you think?

Connor Brown should be! Just make sure you get the proper connections for your harness. For me I had to get an H11 adapter but I’m not sure what yours would take.

lmfao youtube is suggesting me info about covid-19 because there's "corona" in the title
I have an 86, and I'm assuming the BRZ is similar, do you turn these on with the integrated switch on the lever left of the steering wheel? no aftermarket switches you have to install?

Yes, for the fog lights themselves you just flip the switch as normal. The DRL light stays on always unless you wire up that yellow wire I talked about.

base model 86 doesn't come with fog lights, i've heard the harness is just floating in the bumper, handy to know it should just work

I know with the FRS there is a switch you have to install separately to be able to turn on the fog lights. Located next to the trunk release button. I can’t be sure with the 86
