I haven't spoken to him in years, but in the day, he wasn't opposed to shrooms and/or anything else.

Never too late to discover new music that’s been around a while. Glad you found these guys. This song and band absolutely are the real deal. Love this song and live rendition of it so much. I’ve recently introduced my teenage son to these guys and he’s digging it. Some good music is just timeless :)

Have been a big fan of collective soul since my brother showed me their dvd in Morocco of live performances that ruled.
Gotta say though, this is over sung. Collective soul is at their best when the vocals sound relatively normal with some flair instead of being this on the nose.
Still sounds great though. Ed is one of a kind and doing his thing. He certainly hasn't lost his soul.
