Thank you! I enjoyed the video. It would have been helpful to have more comments about draping. Do we need to check it so it doesn’t get too soft or is this piece simple enough you just set the program and let it go without monitoring? I haven’t draped before, only slumped.

This piece is simple enough that it doesn't need to be monitored. Since the mold is taller than the piece, there is no chance of the piece curving underneath and getting stuck.

I made 6 of these but the edges are still somewhat sharp. How do I change the firing schedule using 90 co?

    • @ghislainesabbagh-hughes

Each kiln is different so you may want to increase the temperature of the second segment to 1370

What firing schedule would you use on a stack of 4 pieces. (3mm)already fully fused?

The annealing time will change for something that thick. Also, Is it an even 12mm all the way or does it vary? You can refer to this annealing chart for thick pieces. Note that it says that if you have uneven thicknesses, you have to select the schedule for double the thickest part of your pieces. I hope that helps! www.bullseyeglass.com/images/stories/bullseye/PDF/other/2020_annealing_thick_slabs_fahrenheit.pdf
