My wife loved this platter, so i've made following your video, worked out very well, thank you for this video.💝
That's so lovely to hear! Thanks for sharing
Thank you for your instructions. I have now made two of these in different sizes. One with clear under yellow and the other with orange under yellow. I made bees too and I will be making them again. The project has given me a lot of confidence with fusing. Thanks!
That's great to hear!
Awesome! Love it
That is really inspirational, thank you so much for taking the time to make this video. You explain everything so completely 🐝 are the most wonderful creatures. You are an amazing teacher 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you so much!
What a cute project. Thanks for adding all the tips along the way.
Thank You!
Beautyfull ❤
Thank you!
Awesome tutorial!! Adorable bees!
Thank you very much! They take a bit of time to make but they're lots of fun.
This makes me really want a cricut
Looks like I'm fueling a shopping habit! Oops!
Really love your bee technique! 🤗
Thank you!
Fabulous project! Awesome tutorial! Thank you so very much from this fellow glasser and beekeeper! I'm so excited!!!
Thank you very much! I’m an avid gardener and I love my bee friends! I’d love to see your work.
This project is so amazing. My dad and sister are bee keepers and I want so badly to create something like this for them.
Thank you for the details and the explanations! I’m a baby fuser and your explanations are very helpful.
Thank you so much for your kind comments. I'm glad I could help!
@@ghislainesabbagh-hughes I’m getting ready to do the powder piece of this project, and was wondering if you can reuse the powder that is stuck to the stencil? Do you just let it dry and brush it off? Or is it just lost powder?
@@brandiklepfer5810 yep you can reuse it!
@@ghislainesabbagh-hughes so just let it dry and then brush off? Glad to hear it can be reused!
@@brandiklepfer5810 yes exactly!
I love it soooo much. Thank you for sharing 😍
Thank you for watching! Glad you enjoyed it!
I enjoyed your project and especially that you told what you were doing and why. I would like to make a dish that sits flat and have been wondering how to put a foot on the bottom since the molds seem to be rounded on the bottom. I think you have made me realize I can tack fuse after slumping. I am just a beginner at doing the fusing myself. Loved your project.
Tack fusing happens at a higher temperature than slumping so it would distort your slump. There are many molds that have flat bottoms. The one I use here actually has a flat bottom. If you want to tack “feet” on something your best bet would be to either purchase sticky rubber feet or to cold fuse glass feet. This basically means to glue them on after the fact using silicone glue or something similar. I hope this helps!
It was a really clear instructional video, thank you so much. VR
Thank you!
very informative - love the pattern!
Thank you!
Wonderful, thanks for the tutorial!
thank you!
Thanks for sharing really learned a lot.
Love it thank you for sharing
Thank you for watching! I'm actually making another one at the moment.
Great tutorial ❣️
Thank you!
Thank you lovely tutorial.
My pleasure! Thanks for watching.
Really nice thanks
What does AfAP mean? This turned out beautifully. And I love the candle holder.
AFAP means “As fast as possible”. Sometimes it shows up as FULL on a kiln controller. On my kilns, if I set the segment temperature down to 0 and then I press the down arrow again, it goes into the AFAP mode.
Love this!. I used your firing schedule for my powder hive with bees. When finished the bees came out beautifully - but the powder has a rough texture. Should I fuse again?
The texture on my hive is also rough. You have to be careful with fusing because it’s cumulative, meaning if you fire it again it will also affect your bees and they won’t be as elevated and nice. If you want a smoother texture on your hive then you can do it in two firings. Fire the powder first at a higher temp and then take fuse the bees in a second firing.
Hi I am in the process of making this plate. What kind of grinder do you have? I am shopping today lol.
Hello! I have the Gryphon Gryphette Grinder.
Love this! Is the white tekta 3mm or 2mm?
It’s 3mm
@@ghislainesabbagh-hughes Thanks very much. Can't wait to get started!
Love the project, thank you very much, do you know of a place I can get the honeycomb stencil as I don't have a circuit. TIA
I saw a few on Amazon. Here is one smile.amazon.com/Honeycomb-Cookie-Decorating-Cutter-Kingdom/dp/B08ZJ88NKP/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=1QU1W3NTTC0D9&keywords=honeycomb+stencil&qid=1642521249&sprefix=HONEYcomb+sten%2Caps%2C81&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExRjlGREJBRkhXTTk5JmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNDIxMzkyTUs1TEozSjNLU0M1JmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA1ODUxNjkyNUxSUUdFUUpTWlQ3JndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==
Are the stringers you use 1mm or 2mm?
They’re 1mm.
What fun! What is the gel you used? Are the stringers 1mm?
I used the bullseye blue gel and those were indeed 1mm stringers
@@ghislainesabbagh-hughes thank you I can't wait to try this!
Amazing! Can you guide me in which (online) stores can the stencil be found?
Hello! I actually made the stencil myself using my Cricut machine. If you use a Cricut I can send you a link to the project.
Thank you
@@saadhb Here is the link to the project design.cricut.com/landing/project-detail/60ae766a95e7bc0cb88d58ef
On your firing schedule it says 180/is that 180 minutes?
Yes! That's 180 minutes or 3 hours. Longer anneal times are needed for glass that has different thicknesses.
Thanks
What material did you use for the stencil?
It’s a transparency also called an acetate.
I would like the vector file for cricket!
here is the link to my project on the Cricut Design Space. Please let me know if it works for you. It's the first time I share a Cricut Project. design.cricut.com/landing/project-detail/60ae766a95e7bc0cb88d58ef
Where did you get this honeycomb stencil? Thank you
Hello! I made it using my Cricut Machine. If you have a Cricut, I could put the vector file in the description.
I do have a Cricut, but I don't use it. It is a major ordeal to figure it out every time. Thanks anyway! :)
