    You don’t do near enough RUclips videos. I love watching you work and create. Love the birdies.

      Thank you. It takes a long time to record and then edit our videos which is why we don’t do frequent uploads. Quality over quantity.

    Jill!! I was nearly vibrating with excitement when I saw your post! I was hoping once you got your beautiful lamp work area completed (excellent videos of you and hubby, beautiful work!) that we might get a few more fusing videos as well - not that you have a lot of free time on your hands, lol! Anyway, thank you so, so, so much for this adorable, fun project to make! I just recently purchased a pretty good bit of Bullseye for my holiday items, and these birdies will fit right in. Thank you and welcome back! xoxo from the U.S. 😄

    At the end of every day's rush, I have wondered how is Jill getting on with her new equipment? I miss seeing you so much you are such a good teacher. Your lighting is superb, I don't recall the light being so good perviously.

    • @FiredGlass
      @FiredGlass  4 месяца назад +1

      Thanks Ralf. Lighting has not changed, nor camera settings, so perhaps time has played its merry dance. It's a busy time of year, as I type Jill is at a 4 day exhibition at Souther Nature Art down in Fareham in the UK. She has 2 pieces in the exhibition and has a stall in the artist's market for the 4 days. They all through September it's NROS, as mentioned in this video. Again 2 pieces in the central exhibition and then opening the studio for various events during the month. Much preparation and long days to get the pieces ready. We hope all is well with you.

      @@FiredGlass Thank you for taking time to share the news! I has been 30 years since I took my artwork to a show. I DID enjoy being at them, but buyer support dwindled. It WAS encouraging to link up with like minded people, so I think that I know how it goes for Jill. I hope that she has a pleasant, uplifting time there.

      @@FiredGlass Is there somewhere I can get the pattern for the bird and the wing? I really like yours and would like to replicate it. Thank you!!

    • @FiredGlass
      @FiredGlass  4 месяца назад

      Jill didn't keep the pattern to be fair. Both the bird outline and wing are simple curves which you could drawer out on a piece of paper. They don't have to be an exact copy, make them your own design. So long as you like the shape and it's pleasing to your eye, then you've nailed it!

      They are cute. It’s a straightforward pattern with simple curves, a freehand cut is all that’s really needed.

    what is your firing schedule for these adorable birds?

    • @FiredGlass
      @FiredGlass  4 месяца назад +2

      It’s a standard tack fuse schedule which a downloadable PDF can be found on Warmglass website for all Bullseye glass firing schedules. Or just use your standard schedule as there’s nothing special needed here as there’s no thickness or hold time concerns
