Hey. I was trying to do an armoured only run myself. No DLC Lunatic. And got to chapter 16 before getting demolished. Let's see what you did differently.
Doing armored only without DLC is definitely more difficult than what I put myself through (even ignoring that I personally chose hard over maddening). Mage cannoneers are just too good to pass on.
