I love that Jack fought Nemesis on the heal tile the whole time instead of just leading him off of it.
The ironic thing here is on Maddening, Ch. 13 is only really possible via a solo Byleth run. At least for me, I had to pump every single stat booster into him, and only attack on enemy phase. That chapter still gives me nightmares. I think I only won because the enemy missed a 90% attack.

Yeah, the Sword of trhe Creator is Sothis' spine, and the crest stones are the hearts of the heroes who founded the noble houses. Rhea's literally out there butchering people to make weapons out of them. Or it was the Agarthans, and then Rhea tried to take control of them, it's been a couple of years since I read the lore in depth, it's one of the two though, if I recall.
It was the humans with the Agarthans' help who created the heroes relics and creststones out of the Nabateans! Rhea was one of the only survivors and decided to change history. The game devs stated in an interview it's because too many people agreed with Nemesis for her to make him a villain in history, but I've also seen people theorize it's because she didn't want her kin's remains to be misused, hence why they're sacred. So so sorry for the lore dump, I don't mean to be rude at all.
90% sure the crest stones are the hearts of the _Nabateans_ that were killed and whose bones were used to make the relics, not the "Heroes" (who were humans). That's why Byleth can use the sword of the creator despite it not having a crest stone- the "crest stone" is Sothis' heart, which is inside their body. That's also why the crest stones are in the masoleum under Garreg Mach- I doubt Rhea would want the people who murdered Sothis anywhere near her remains.
It is extremely messed up when you realize that 3 Houses is a story about the sole survivors of a genocide watching the descendents of the people who wiped their entire race off the face of the earth start another war over- and using- the blood magic and desecrated remains of their family members. Like, seriously- imagine calling a truce with the people who murdered your entire bloodline only for their granddaughter to roll up to your house and throw a bomb made out of your mom's urn through your window (I know Edelgard is more removed than a granddaughter, but the sentiment is the same).
@@Silburific This is correct, the Crest Stones and Hero Relics were created using the bones and hearts of the Nabateans. The Crests themselves if i remember correctly were gained by Nemesis and his gang consuming the blood of the nabateans.
As a little side fun fact, Amyr wasn't one of the original Hero Relics and very heavily implied to be an artificial Crest weapon designed specifically for Edelgard by the Agarthans. It's repaired using Agarthium instead of the usual Umbral Steel of the other relics.
@@Silburific correction Edelgard is granddaughter of Rheas human homies that fought Nemesis.
It was the humans and nemesis being a dick, I played golden wind last and when rhea told me that I was legit shocked, you can even notice that some of the relics move and seem "alive" very disturbing.
I certainly had fun watching it! Silver Snow, Crimson Flower or Azure Moon when? Or better... Azure Moon solo Dimitri Merciless when? ^^

Yes, because it's probably only doable on crimson flower. Spoiler alert for other routes:
Azure Moon has Hegemon Husk Edelgard, who attacks byleth once period and then ceases, and I don't think she can be counterattacked. Crimson Flower has dragon form Rhea, who you're going to have a tough time against due to the fact that half the time she's not going to take damage. Silver Snow has dragon form Rhea but she always uses the normally 2 turn attack every turn, meaning no counters allowed.

This video really proves that even if you’re incompetent, you can accomplish something with enough determination and trial/error. I would say research, but clearly that didn’t happen :p

If you're trying to improve weapon skill rank, use the broken weapons. It'll do less damage but still increase the weapon's rank like normal. ❤ Also have your unit and the enemy stand on grass tiles for the avoid, to help farm skill rank exp.

As such I salute you for the bloody sacrifices you had to make this playthrough.
You mentioned Silver Snow possibly being the other run you were considering, which is quite funny because under this ruleset of no attacking on player phase, Silver Snow's Immaculate One final boss becomes impossible the moment she enters her "true form" and gets the ability to use staggering blows without charging them up - this means you never get the chance to counterattack her and therefore can NEVER DAMAGE HER.
The other final bosses are definitely harder than Nemesis on this sort of run, due to it being unreasonably difficult to break monster barriers - on Blue Lions that final boss has Monster Effect Null and regens the barrier every turn so that's completely impossible to break, and the Black Eagles final boss can be broken by weapons triple effective against dragons, such as Dragon Claws, so you'll do at least full damage half the time.
The things I can think of that one could do different to make this slightly less painful is to be female Byleth for even better evasion at low health, and have Flayn as Byleth's supporter, as she gives a permanent increase to damage. Other than that, I believe this was done as well as it could. Maybe Edelgard route would be easier, as some of the most difficult battles would be different, as well as it's shorter in general.
Fantastic effort though! There's no understating how impressive this run was, and if the only "improvements" are to make it the tiniest amount easier, it only shows how hard it actually was.
It has also given me a new view of the crit increasing skills. 100% crit rate is crazy.

On my most recent playthrough I did Silver Snow cause it's the only route I haven't done yet, and I didn't want Edelgard to get any exp because I wouldn't get to keep her. And I remember having to have my other students body block Edelgard so she wouldn't get hit and die in multiple maps including this one.
