Nothing has changed in the Yamaha clutches for many years as far as service goes. Any video for a Kodiak 450/700 or Grizzly will be the same procedure. Make sure to get the proper Yamaha grease.
Justin Tilsonjt Yamahas are well suited for getting wet-all electrical connections are marine grade-just add dielectric grease to spark plug. With stock setup water level up to the hood ok, NOT over
I just took mine apart. it was bad. its a 2019 Kodiak 450. ive never took it apart and cleaned it out. i thought my belt was slipping. put a new belt on same thing. found out about this. wish i could post the pics on here. youd wana slapp me.
@@ADVENTURESThisWay Its simple to talke apart. It really suprised me. I made the mistake of turning it upside down to clean the inside surface that grabs the belt. wouldn;t go on all the way. i took it back apart and 2 of the roller had fallen out and wouldnt' let the plate go al the way in like it was suppose to.
Perhaps welding the face of the sheve then machine it down, also some Emery cloth to essentially hone the faces after helps too.
Looks like its time for some snorkels!
Awsome vid man!
Can you show how to service these?
None on youtube for 17+ models

Ya the greased roller system for these works great, until you get it wet and dirty 😀

@@jamesstanley7065 ya once you have done it, always much simpler
Maybe...it would be a very tough task as very little room to run.
