Dude, go for it. I have personal experience with the 450. I beat the living shit out of my 18’ and she has yet to break. I wheelie, jump, donut, pull, push, and more with it. I’ve lived with Yamaha my whole life; reliable as FUCK. Only problem I’ve had with Yamaha throughout the years is bad wheel bearings, but that’s normal wear and tear. Japanese reliability / quality is what you want. You’ll for sure get it with Yamaha.
Is the gauge pod an option on the base model? I’ve been lookin at 700s even 2021 models and I haven’t seen any with a gauge pod, don’t need anything fancy but it would be nice to read how much fuel I have
If you get an eps version I believe you get a gauge pod I was looking at them at a dealership a couple days ago. The eps also comes with a handle bar mounted headlight
0:43 “More Chinese made” Buddy, these are Japanese made. Yamaha is a Japanese company. They make extremely reliable machines. Did you do any sort of research?
He did NO research because it's not his, it's his grandfather's. His critique is funny because it doesn't belong to him, doesn't matter if he likes it or not. He's getting to ride it for free, shut up kid and be grateful.
We have a Grizzly 600 and a Grizzly 660, my Uncle has a Kodiak 400. None of them EVER had any problems with with very little maintenance over the years. Yamaha has best 4wheelers out there!
Any atv or motorcycle ive ever ridden had the front brake on the right grip. When going down hill you want to use more of the rear brake than the front to prevent the front brakes from locking up and flipping over forwards. Going downhill i usually just use 1 finger to put a little pressure on the front brake and mostly back brake using the foot pedal or the left brake lever
I still have it and it’s currently in my dads shop In a few weeks I’m sending it to a place close to where I love to get new top end and then I’m going to finish painting it and putting it back together and might sell it unless my dad wants it
I absolutely love mine if you go to my RUclips channel you'll see me riding it everywhere and when I mean everywhere I mean everywhere this bike is amazing I recommend it for everyone
Kids these days right 😂, 450 yeah it's great for a old man to get to the woods or something on😆. Trust me son, she'll go anywhere those overpriced, under built, far over powered candamz will go. Ohh yeah and to me it looks like a kodiak..a grizzly.. reminiscent of an old Big Bear or perhaps oh I don't know say old Kodiak 😂😆👍. These are great machines, she's going to be around a long time after other machine's come and go I guarantee you that.
@@Roboticdoughbull3k just what I was thinking man, I looked at the 700 but I don't wanna spend too much, I'm used to a 250 2wd growing up, I feel like a 450 4wd will be all me (and the woman) will ever need
i have same color Kodiak but 15 years old ! plastics look like shit ! Yamaha makes cheap flimsy plastic compare to my 16 yo rancher ! Rancher has hard and sturdy plastic!
Thank you for posting this helpful video
Highly considering buying one

Is there a snow plow blade kit that fits this?
yes.
I just bought one of these. Why is the front brake on the right? Down hill the right hand is doing too much
Honestly idk I haven’t rode the bike enough to notice that or if it is just on yours I would call the dealer or atv shop

you can change it up and frap with you left hand, just saying

Nice bike, too bad they don't make them in semi auto anymore! -Muddy
Yeah my grandpa likes it a lot it’s pretty nice and has lot more power than I thought
Hey big brother
What's the maximum weight limit for anyone to be able to ride this ATV? Thanks 👍
To be honest I don’t know but my dads friend has a 700 grizzly I’m pretty sure and he’s a good 350 so it might have it in the manual but I don’t know
Imagine having to ask that 💀

? Why
You actually clipped your seat belt and sat in front of it. And, you think this atv is Chinese. You've got a long ways yet to go, boy.
