I think my favorite part of watching Sodo play as Dewdrop for Ghost is that it’s perfect for him. His entire career, he’s kept himself out of view, and I think it’s because he truly enjoys what he does. He doesn’t do it for fame. He does it for the sheer, unholy delight.

I realize that some people may find it strange that a 55 year old man such as myself is a huge Ghost fan. All I will say is that great songs are timeless and Ghost has them in spades.
You can tell when someone "plays" the blues or Plays the blues because they love it. Not only are they both a longtime fan of Blues but are also accomplished Flamenco players. Never expected anyone to be able to combine those different genres so masterfully.
Truth. Anybody can play a blues scale but, making it feel right is not easy. Made my living playing drums in blues bands for a few years. My dad was a Texas blues man.

I saw them in Ames, Iowa. I had a friend bail on me and I went by myself. The people in front and on both sides of me didn't show up to take their seats. I was like 5 rows away from stage and not crowded at all. it was freaking awesome!

The Hagstrom Swede models are fairly common, at least in Canada. Where ever you are, you might be able to order one in for cheap or at least a reasonable price.
They always used 'uncommon' guitars. They started with Gibson RD's and I thought that was awesome. Having both guitarist play the same guitar fits perfectly in this kind of setup.

Years ago I was in this band and we opened our shows just like this except at the part where this guy did Stairway, I went into the opening riff from Number of the Beast and the crowd went nuts every time. This was in the 90s when they said Metal was dead and it renewed my faith every time the crowd recognized it!

I would think it would depend on the individual. Many guitarists I know would hate it, because y'know guitarists. Personally, I'd get a kick out it. Nobody knows who you are with the mask on, so you can really just fall into the character.
The best thing about Ghost is that despite wearing masks, each member stands out more than most bands can manage. That is a feat few can accomplish.
