So incredibly true! We lost our day in ’78 at the tender age of 54 and life was never the same - we all miss him very much to this day and try to celebrate all memories we all worked so hard to make. Carlo’s dad was surely a TREASURE!! 🌹❤

Sorry for your loss, Carlo. My husband and I just lost his mom two weeks ago. She came to reside with us when she was first diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease and we were her primary caregivers for nine years. It wasn't easy caring for her with no help, but we did it and she thankfully was able to go peacefully at home, which is what we always wanted for her. I’m sorry for your loss, Carlo. I lost my Mom in December. She was 95 1/2 when she died & had lived with my family & I for the last 7 years. Her overall health had been good, even well into her 90’s. Over the last year or so her short-term memory was beginning to fail her more but in general, & considering she was 95, we are all so grateful how good her mind was right up till the end. I know this is a hard time for you & your siblings & I’m sorry. It’s not easy to say goodbye to our parents.
Carlos father seems to have many people who love and respect him. As a former hospice nurse, love and respect of family and friends are two of the greatest treasures in life.

He showed me where he was. And that he was fine and doing well and not to worry about him. Your dad will come to you when he is ready. Look after your mom. Take her to the new place for a visit.
