Choosing the right product depends heavily on understanding who your target customers are and what your theme is. You cannot select a heavy shirt for women and, conversely, a delicate one for men. Properly researching your target audience makes product selection much easier and more effective. This should clearly convey the importance of knowing your customer base when making product choices.
Thanks that was very helpful! As a new POD creator I'm just a wee bit overwhelmed with the learning curve and having some videos from the actual source is so helpful! I've seen a lot of recommendations for the BC3001 - so I think I will go with this one to start out with.

Gildan 5000. Due to price and more available sizes mostly. But i use BC30001 when i want some colors not available for the G5000 or/& when women are the target audience (most prefer it).

Of the three shown, my personal go-to is the Bella+Canvas 3001 for it's light weight, comfortable fit. I live in a warm climate, so the light fabric is appreciated. Otherwise, my go-to would be the Gildan 5000. I've never tried Comfort Colors, so I can't give any feedback on that, but it's relatively high-price has kept me from offering it. Great video! Thanks!
I like the fit of Gildan 64000, and the softness of the BC. I've found that the shirts in my closet that are older that I wear because they're comfy tend to be the Gildan 64000.
I really dislike the Gildan 5000. I know it's cheaper but the fabric is itchy and it came with a lot of loose threads. Maybe it will soften over several washes but I would be upset if I was a customer and I bought that shirt.
Thanks, this was very useful. The type of shirt to use for designs is something that I was trying to decide on. But you have simplified it, use the type of shirt that best suits the time it is most likely to be worn by the customer.
I create over 5 design for POD Currently But all are awesome but I am confuse which t-shirt I choose finally I go with Bella Canva less price and lots of colour mostly I confuse with size problem when I see Bella Canva photo I thought it too tight for some buyer but know I go with Bella Canva I see how comfortable Bella Canva thanks for giving such a useful knowledge

I have only used Bella+Canvas so far, but have just ordered samples of Gidan so I can compare as I've gotten comments on the thinness of the fabric of the B+C.
BC3005 is my favorite. I love the vneck more than crew neck personally, and the quality of BC is consistently solid for me to trust for my business. Love these videos, I'm new so like a sponge with info. :)

Hi @printify I'm a new seller and after sampling BC3001 I feel its very thin and very low quality. How does this t shirt become a best seller? Do people prefer this quality?
Some buyers tend to look at the product first rather then the design, and sometimes it's the other way around. All we know is, sellers are having success with this product!

If one sells the Bella Canvas 3001, would you recommend the buyer purchase a larger than normal size if they buyer likes a looser fit ? Maybe only to males ?

Why didn't you guys use the Gildan 64000 , it is a better tee with superior fabric and obviously more DTG friendly than the Gildan 5000.
