I like to write out ideas of what to eat the night before- I’ve noticed it helps me decide on what to eat/meet my nutrition goals.
What I found helpful when it comes to grocery shopping is to pick menus first and then shop the ingredients. You can pick menus around what you already have or what's on sale to save some money too :)
I don't meal prep for the exact reasons, instead I ingredient prep with my favorite things. Like, I'll roast a big batch of veggies in the oven and then use them for various different meals. Or cook a bunch of chicken and make use it for different things. I always have multiple pre cooked things in my fridge. Most of which can be frozen if I don't finish them in time.
Works really well for me and saves me lots of time in the kitchen as I can use throw some stuff together and microwave it for a healthy meal!
Awe loved Tikas little tricks at the end. So cool! Those bowls looked so yummy and healthy too!
I know this is an older video but I was desperate for new recipes and this video delivered! I also agree homemade tzaziki is AMAZING, and the Greek turkey bowl sounds so good…will try incorporating this from now on!
This was a great video! You are so inspiring as a nutritionist and I can tell you are passionate about it!!
Melissa! apparently you have to get anything labeled "grass-finished" to guarantee that all animals have been fed grass their entire life. Love your vlogs!
Excellent advice and thank you for this information. I'm a healthy eater but definitely in a food rut- i seem to eat the same foods prepared the same way so I need encouragement to expand my eating. Tika is just adorable! Lots of hugs!! I use a nutra bullet and no issues with leaking. Happy Melissa Monday!!! ☺️☀️🦩🌴😊❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰
I love how Tikka loves her watermelon toy. More Tikka.
Love the music at the beginning
The last 4 days of February, Melissa!❤
i love your videos and that one in particular. i am trying to eat more unprocessed, healthy meals too and i am always greatful for new inspirations.
Love this video Melissa! Thank you💕 would love to know where your white speckled dish is from?🤍
I have the same problem when I buy produce a lot of times it goes bad because I’m too tired to prepare it sometimes I just buy frozen fruit and veggies to get that food group and it won’t go bad
this flaxmeal idea is bomb. wow. cant believe i never thought of this. can't have oats it makes me super bloated. im going to try this, thanks melissa and tika!
Love this video!! I meal prep mostly soups and non-lettuce salads (like cucumber, peppers, beans, chickpeas, etc) and that helps so much because it doesn’t taste like leftover food is that makes sense lol.
This video was so helpful! Thank you!! 🫶🏻 i get so overwhelmed with trying to eat perfectly like you said. So this was great info and not overwhelming!!! 🌼
Loved this video! Tika is too funny with her toy 😂
When you mentioned sandwich deli meats I did want to tell you that they are classified as class 1 carcinogens by the world heath organization so that’s something to maybe keep in mind ! They’ve got protein yes but tons of sodium so just putting that out there, you do you and I’ll never judge :) just sharing what I’ve learned
I opt for nitrate free when getting deli meats. Still not the best option but its also not an everyday staple so i'm not worries about it :)
Hi Melissa! Love your videos, stumbled upon them recently. Would love to know what certificate you took to become a certified holistic nutritionist? I've also been diagnosed with PCOS and have researched my way through my own journey, I recognize a lot of the foods you mentioned in this video so it gives me hope I'm on the right track. But would love to see if I can get educated by schooling too. Thanks!
Your dog is so cute 🩷🥹
So cute Tika with watermelon ❤❤❤
I like to write a weekly menu on sunday and then shop
Bravo, good work Melissa! Rudi.
all looks so yummmyyy
Where are your sunglasses from? 😊
I luuuuuuv it
Keep it up
💚💚💚
Just get another Vitamix - they are unmatched. I bought the beast from Costco (canada costco has them for $210ish) and I used 3 times and returned and used that money to buy a short container for my vitamix. The beast does blend well but everything would get stuck and not blend unless I added a lot of liquid. It's fine if you like a thinner smoothie, but still annoying. Also the blade can't go in the dishwasher so it was a pain to clean.
I've got a froothie optimum blender, works well , cheaper version of a vitamix basically
Do you have the recipe for the turkey greek bowl listed anywhere? I'd love to make it!
Where is your black sweater from in this video?
ugh my ninja doesnt blend well either. i hate chunks. if you buy one that works pls let us know!
Can you pls share your homemade tzatziki recipe?😊
I don’t do meal prep I do grocery prep. Things are cut up and ready to cook or make the salad etc
My God your dog is so beautiful! :) what breed is it?
she's a mini Aussie :)
Hi, what breed is your dog please 😊
🔥
Girl wash the rice lol always good to wash rice prior to cooking
LOVE the video 🩷I just posted a RUclips video aswell if anyone wants to watch it’s a “what I eat in a day” 🎀
How old are you?
Is groceries not expensive in Canada? I mean, I understand this type of content, but damn, this is so unrealistic for "normal" people. If I hear another person make salmon for dinner..Lol.
It is very expensive here. I definitely think she’s relatively wealthy
