Very cool! I'm awaiting my Trails into Reverie collector's edition! OMG I just found my copy of Cold Steel 2 a few days ago. I'm so behind cause I lost it for 2 years and didn't want to push on until I finished it first. I hope Blue Reflection Sun does come out in the West. It looks so cute!

Yes there certainly seems to be a lot of good JRPGs. I haven’t loved Final Fantasy since 7-10 (Not counting 7R which I loved because I love 7). I haven’t even played 15 despite owning the Royal Edition or whatever it is called. But 16 seems very interesting. I’m currently on vacation with no game console but otherwise I was playing Persona 5 Royal whenever I had the chance. Despite owning the original PS4 version and the Royal version for PS4 I never finished the game so I started over on PS5 and I’ve gotten further than ever. Also started P3P on Series X. P3FES in PS2 was the game that got me into JRPGs again after not having enjoyed any since FFX and playing it in 4K is very nice. Still a great game. I have too many games in the Trails series to catch up on before playing Reveire but it seems so good I can barely wait.

I didn't really play much in June - Gems of War (ongoing 100% completion), Lego Indiana Jones 2 and the DLC for Island Saver (to get both to 100% completion). July looking like more of the same in terms of GoW, and working on WWE 2K16, Lego Jurassic World and a few more smaller experiences, with a medium size one mixed in there. Love all the content and look forward to checking out the new videos when they drop. Always such a positive and great energy, just a joy to watch. Hope all is well, have a incredible day/weekend. Cheers

I haven't been playing much games for like the past two months prior to this. But on the last week of June, I actually did pick up the Atelier Ryza trilogy. I had Atelier Marie Remake preordered before buying the Ryza trilogy, I was just waiting until the trilogy got discounted & sure enough it did. So while my first purchased Atelier game was the Marie Remake, the first Atelier game I played on June was Ryza. I'm enjoying it very much & look forward to the trilogy. Atelier Ryza has reignited my want to play games again tbh. I'm also looking forward to my preorder of Atelier Marie Remake. It's so close now, exciting.

    games I played in June;
Hexologic - I 100%ed it. Its basically Sudoku on crack. You click the different hexagons to make dots appear inside of them. All hexagons have at least one dot in them and the numbers at the end of a line of hexagons says how many hexagons are in that line(up, down, left, right, diagonal, whatever it is). Then it starts introducing stuff like > and < signs saying that the number of dots on one side of the sign is greater than the other, colored hexagons which when you click them will also add a dot to the hexagon(s) of the same color. Sometimes hexagons come with dots and the number can't be changed. There are some hexagons that have multiple colors in them, etc. Overall pretty fun and I'd recommend it if you're into such things like crosswords, sudoku, etc.
Cat Quest - Replayed it again in June, finished 100%ing it. Overall the minimum amount of playthroughs that it'd take you to 100% it is 5, but its a VERY short game to the point where sometimes I did a playthrough in one day. There's the initial playthrough, then you unlock "Mew Game" where you can start a fresh playthrough with a "mewdifiers" that make the game more difficult. There's an achievement for unlocking the full Old Master Set. To unlock the helmet, armor and sword, you have to beat the game with one, two and three modifiers respectively(I may be wrong on the order) so thats three more playthroughs. the "mewdifiers" you can add are only having 9 lives, being stuck at level 1, can't equip equipment, enemies will be stronger than normal, and a 5th mewdifier that gives no reward, so for the Old Master set it doesn't count. then there's an achievement for beating the game "Furry Armored" which basically lets you start the game off with the level you beat your initial playthrough at and have all your equipment, so thats the 5th playthrough. Then there's all the basic shit I got on my first playthrough like getting to level 99, clearing every dungeon, completing every quest, etc. Overall I'd recommend it if you're a fan of cats and especially if you like puns.
Oknytt - Point-and-click adventure I did not enjoy, but I 100%ed it regardless. It was dark and dreary, and I had trouble seeing anything because the items blended into the scenery so well even while using a guide extensively. Also had alot of weird names that I would not have been able to pronounce if it did not have voice acting(it did). Pulling from the guide I used, here's a few examples of characters; hustomte, gårdstomte, brunnsgubbe, nattramn, etc.
My Time At Portia - Got the achievement for proposing to Emily in front of the pumpkin house in June. Took me I think 100 hours roughly since I was doing a legit playthrough and not just sleeping until I got to the next part that let me progress in the achievement.
Still played some Car Mechanic Simulator 2018, not as much as other months though.
Hexcells - basically if Minesweeper and Sudoku had a baby. It'll have numbers on the edges saying how many "mines" are down that direction. It'll have an icon(I forget what, perhaps ~'s or something) if the "mines" are all sequential, and it'll have -'s around the number if its got at LEAST one hexagon thats not a mine seperating them.
Been playing a bit of Stardew Valley. Going for the Joja achievement on a farm with a 25% profit margin(that is to say, seeds you buy and everything you sell are 25% the normal amount). Up to Winter year 1, got some gold tools and I got the Greenhouse and Mine Carts fixed. Oh yeah, and its a beach farm, so I can't use Sprinklers.
I'm still currently playing Xblaze Code: Embryo, but I'm at 58% of the achievements in that, but still, I did play some of it in June.

Amazing work with your playthroughs as usual, always impressed to read how much you got done in a month :3 good reminder that I need to get to Stardew Valley at some point too! And that Hexologic game sounds like it could be fun. Good luck this month :))

@@JRPGJungle thanks! :) Only one letter left, after that, I'm probably gonna do some cleanup. Play some games that I didn't feel I was in the mood for, games that I was unsure if I could do the full 100%, etc. I'm kinda tempted to next year try and 100% as many games as I can that start with S, since I own over like 250 games that start with S that have achievements.

Very nice editing comparing 2D crossbell with reverie's 3D same places! I enjoyed that.
You hyped me up on reverie! I atleast need to buy and finish Azure first.
Such a beautiful june month from you. I'm curious about the blue reflection game so i hope it'll come to the west.
Gust improved a lot in every aspect!
Blue reflection 2nd light was surpringly so awesome! (Uta's story is right up my alley since i wanted to be a psychologist).
Since i had a full month vacation i played a lot of game from jrpg to cozy game (rune factories, wylde flower).
Next month will be easy, i start working on monday so it depends.
    I started xenoblade 3 a few days ago and it's a blast compared to 1 and 2.
I'll stick to it or go back to trails.
I will buy and finish atelier Marie, the game is such too cute! I know Marie from Cross edge game (ps3) so i can't wait to learn about her in her game!

FF16 is a blast. We all thought the demo was wild, but had no idea what was in store for the full game. It reaches a level of spectacle that I doubt will be rivaled any time soon. The story is also the best one that FF has gotten since 10. The western style of "mature" writing is a little bit problematic, but overall, the writing is far superior to what this franchise has gotten in a long time. All of its issues aside, it is very easily my GOTY.

My June started with Tears of the Kingdom and finished off with AI Somnium: Nirvana Initiative. (I will probably beat it tonight.) Not sure what I can play with just a week left until Reverie lol.
My recommendation for you would be to stick with Azure first, as I'm sure Reverie will spoil even more about it than CS3 & 4 did. Based on your description, I'm guessing that you just finished Chapter 2, and I can tell you that for the most part the game is all gas from here out.
Whatever you end up doing, enjoy!

Oh, that has me excited for Azure! Editing was a good reminder of all the stuff Azure could add to my playthrough, so I may end up leaning more that way, especially since the last Trails game I finished was Zero. Not 100% decided yet, but your feedback is appreciated :)
      Enjoy Reverie! :D

This time around I finished playing Soul Hackers, kept on playing EO4 more on the side and started playing Persona 3 Portable because of the announcement of Reload. Soul hackers was quite good, but I did feel the age of it especially in the exploration and combat (it doesn’t have the press turn battle system from other SMT titles). It’s still a really good game that I would recommend if you like the cyberpunk aesthetic. As for P3P, I’m really enjoying it a lot so far. The music is fantastic, the combat and dungeon crawling is fun and of course the social links are as well.

Most of my game time in June was in Wo Long, though it wasn't that much of a time, since some personal issues. But still, good game. There are some infuriating moments, but overall it's really good and fun. And I still trying to finish my second playthrough of Persona 4 Golden on PS Vita, but I just can't bring myself to this game. And I can't start a new game untill I finish P4G. But I think it's time to end it already.
In July I think I can take one of two routes and both kinda suicidal.
    1) Start to replay ALL Legend of Heroes games.
    2) Start to play ALL Xenoblade Chronicles games.
I don't know how the hell I'm gonna do either, but I want to do both either way.

Reverie's plot is a continuation of Azure. Azure is also the better game here plot wise, while Reverie is the more fanservice game. Reverie is an awesome game, but most of it depends on you playing the previous titles.

Since i'll be on holidays for 2 weeks in July I didn't want to start FF16, just to have to stop it for 2 weeks in the middle. I have Ryza 3 on the Swtich, so I can take that with me.
