    Revo has been my favorite since i was 16 in 2004 when the OG 2.5r revo dropped. I still have it. Also have a Erevo 2.0 with a castle system and minor strategic upgrades (shocks,springs, tubes toe links/tierods, rear chassis brace, hv servo, castle mmx/1515 system) 18/50gears. Such a rush to drive handles amazingly after some spring and shock tuning, standing back flips and 65mph+ easy.

    We need the E-revo 3.0 guys!! Standard suspension, 2000Kv motor with a better layout, clipless body, modern bulkheads, GT-Maxx shocks. The E-revo needs to be track ready and stand alone from the Sledge

  • @truerc
    @truerc Год назад +6

  • @thomashernandez4027
    @thomashernandez4027 Год назад +1

    I love my erevo 2.0. The erevo is a true monster truck because the chassis sits above the drive train. The sledge is a truggy, the chassis is below the drive train, giving it a lower center of gravity. I’ve gotten into 1/8 scale off road racing. Buggy and truggy. Build kit vehicles, tune every aspect of the vehicle, paint my own bodies, glue my own tires, solder esc and motors. If you guys want a really fun basher I suggest getting a tekno mt 410. You will be surprised how fun and easy they are to drive! Cheers!!

  • @drog343
    @drog343 11 месяцев назад +1

    It is unfortunate that this truck got discontinued, I think it is awesome. Though, specifically with the axles, if it had CV axles like the LEM ones that used to be axailable on the Summit, I don't think it would've had nearly as many of the 2.0's problems that I've seen people post. Although these days, if it ain't made to go hurtling off some 30+ ft jump, it ain't it, everything needs to be the same.

    • @redbanditracing
      @redbanditracing  11 месяцев назад +1

      Totally agree, a great truck. I think people don’t understand the limits of a RC car/truck. All these upgrades everyone does, and still breaks it must be trash. Would really like to see a newer updated version come out.

  • @saltystripesfishing2980
    @saltystripesfishing2980 3 месяца назад +1

    Erevo getting canned for the sledge which is pretty much a way better version but still a copy of an hpi trophy truggy. Atleast the erevo has an identity of its own and people loved it. The summit was good too!

  • @timsgta
    @timsgta Год назад +1

    If they do release an updated Revo, the only major thing they should change is the chassis design, give it a pan with more room. Just make it have more room but same driving characteristics and suspension setup, please don't get rid of the shock setup! Add metal spur, keep the cush drive, and like you said a better motor mount system, which would come with the redesigned pan.

    • @redbanditracing
      @redbanditracing  Год назад

      I would love to keep the erevo suspension system, but it isn’t as durable or as practical. If they could make arms pull out less, it would be the best suspension Traxxas sells.

    • @Zane-u1u
      @Zane-u1u 2 месяца назад

      @@redbanditracingits strange that everyone is complaining about the suspension popping out a lot or having issues but my erevo NEVER has stripped a shock shaft of pulled off a shock arm off. I test it all the time and the shocks always smoothly extend without any strain. Maybe its just the weight of the fluid or somthing but its always been great for me

  • @HeadBassVTEC
    @HeadBassVTEC 10 месяцев назад +1

    I have the original ERBE for more than 10 years (got one used in 2011) and honestly I don't break stuff much (I don't really do big jumps though so not a typical basher)
    upgraded radio, wheels/tyres, hexes, engine brace and not much else really...even have few upgrades bought that I did not have a chance to install yet and waiting for the stock part to break like RPM arms, RPM carriers etc
    never had issues with stock driveshafts so no CVDs and I run always 6s and big grippy tyres most of the time (first had Big Joes, now TrencherX 3.8 and Badlands 3.8)
    replaced few arms, rods and bulkheads from jumping and crashes and other than that replaced diffs few times and that is all
    from seeing how much stuff others break I got a bit too paranoid initially and got like 2 boxes of spare parts but hardly ever need to replace something so I guess I'll be keeping mine for a long time
    personally I think traxxas makes too many similar models just for the sake of releasing new stuff

    • @redbanditracing
      @redbanditracing  10 месяцев назад

      I have noticed that issue with Traxxas lately with the HOSS and Stampede being the same cars. The erevo was a great and unique car so I don’t know why they would remove it. With a V.3, I felt it could have been great.

  • @therccelebrityspeedfresh5393
    @therccelebrityspeedfresh5393 Год назад +4

    I’ve been saying that for a year in a half now. Erevo 2.0VXL is replace by Traxxas sledge because sledge is way better and it’s a lot stronger then a Erevo 2.0vxl. And faster then a Revo 2.0vxl. I’ve been saying this for ever

    • @redbanditracing
      @redbanditracing  Год назад

      Your message is all over the place but I understand what you’re saying. The ERevo didn’t need to be replaced because of the Sledge, if that was the case then the 4x4 Stampede should have been discontinued as well because of the HOSS. I’m sure there were reasons other than the Sledge for discontinuing the ERevo like not selling, and it’s an outdated platform.

      @@redbanditracing because the Erevo breaks a lot and when the sledge came in 2022 it got more popular then a Erevo. Them 2 servos stripped out doing a hard bash. But anyway they don’t make the Erevo 2.0vxl anymore. The sledges took over. I had that big dream when I was at Traxxas where house. All the Erevo 2.0vxl’s evolve into the Traxxas Sledges in my dream and I was all alone

    • @Mulisak
      @Mulisak 9 месяцев назад +1

      I think it got replaced, because it actually overshadowed the Sledge. E-Revo has more quirks and is not as durable as Sledge, but it drives better and looks much cooler. Also its quirks give it a personality and the suspensions located inside the chassis look absolutely beautiful. If you want destroy it in skate parks and the only thing you care about is dropping the car from 20m, then yeah, get the Sledge. But if you care about driving and you don't mind working on your RC, then I'd say E-Revo takes the spot. I'm glad I was still able to find an unused one a few days ago, so I bought it and I cannot stop looking at it. Amazing RC.

Also my passion is airbrusing aftermarket bodies and making my trucks my own, and now these new vehicles its like Traxxas doesn't want any other kinds of bodies on their vehicles.
