  • Today we go the Sledge and E-Revo 2.0 out for some bashing. I must say the Sledge is much quieter with the new gears and M2C motor mount kit. The E-Revo ran great with the new dBoots by Arrma, aluminum skid plate kit, and the new control arms. We did end up breaking the new aluminum skid plate when hitting the backboard near home plate, and cracked the rear chassis brace. The Sledge took some big hits, but nothing was damaged.
    Go check out the M2C motor mount installation video, and stay tuned for future videos.

    My sledge chassis bent same spot but worse but she still cooks.

      I was thinking maybe it’s because of the motor, and the heat the motor gives off in that spot.

    So the deboots require wheel spacers on the sledge?

    • @redbanditracing
      @redbanditracing  4 месяца назад +1

      Yes. The wheels will rub on the arms without them. I’m using the splined wheel hubs that extend 10mm out. Go with the hot racing #HRAERVT10W. We got them through Amain.

    RPM arms suck on e Revo. The pillow balls pull out super easy because the plastic is soft. I had switched back to stock.

      I was going to try metal inserts, then use loctite.

    Love the Look from the Sledge. Are the Chassis a Problem? Greetings from Germany

    • @redbanditracing
      @redbanditracing  4 месяца назад

      The chassis is an issue, it bends typically below the motor. Most will replace the chassis with M2C because it’s much stronger. Installing the M2C motor mount also fixes the issue. Check out that video ruclips.net/video/sTXDv9WrhnE/видео.htmlsi=JKqKazY8hDkLyVeS

    You know they don’t make the E-Revo 2.0vxl anymore. Discontinued, Replace by Traxxas Sledge. I had 2 Erevos before, not no more. I’ve sold them. I got 2 sledges now
