Both…I use ND64 as my go to on bright sunny days. For sunrises I may use a ND8 or none at all. For sunsets it really depends on how the sky is looking that will determine which ND filter I use. Don’t forget that some of the best sunsets happen after the sun is below the horizon. I see so many people leave a location after the sun goes down and they miss the amazing colors in the sky.
Sunrise for sure! My drone likes cooler temperatures and I like less peeps. I have the place to myself. I am just learning so thanks for the information!
That's great to hear! I also like flying when less people are out and it usually is much nicer temperature wise haha - glad this video was helpful and let us know of any other topics you want us to cover!
Love the video! Thank you for sharing great content as always. Not being critical but you should be in a way cooler setting. It's okay but what about some drone props or some cool UAV Coach posters or something? Just a thought :P
I want to do sunrise shots but have yet to get up enough to actually make it happen lol. Ive done a few sunset shots so far and definitely have room to improve. I thought the drone was slowly drifting to the left because the sun wasnt staying centered, but it was just the path of the sun 😂
Hahaha glad everything was alright with the drone! And yes, sunrise shoots can be a little hard to do, my best tip is to plan everything the night before, have your camera bag ready, location scouted, etc. just so it makes it easier for you to get up and get to the location as fast as possible.
@@uavcoach Me too! If the weather is nice I might try to make it happen this weekend, I think it would make for a cool shot from on top of a small mountain ⛰️
Are you a sunrise or sunset pilot?

Great choice! It definitely is nice to fly when not that many people are around - feels so calm out! And glad you enjoyed😁

Sunset so far. Only beacause of my current schedule.
Sunsets are great!
Mostly sunsets cause I’m rarely up early enough in the morning!
Haha nice - do whatever gets you out flying the most!
Sunset living In FL near lake
Ooh that sounds awesome!
This video would have been better if you showed side by side examples and not just talking 😊
Thanks for the feedback!
