I had two refugees in my school one of them becoming one of my best friends, she broke down crying in class once while I was teaching her German (I always did that extra to the classes she took) because she was so happy that she finally felt safe and like someone was caring for her and most importantly that she wasn't scared of getting killed anymore. She was only eleven at that time and thinking about a child having to life with the though that it will probably die young gives me goosebumps. That made me realize that taking them to Germany wasn't a bad decision but a good one, we are completely fine right now and have given people who needed it a place safe to live.
@@dmsvlcp It's just funny how mentioning a nation (Russia, Germany etc.) will make 60 percent of the comments come from this country, even if the video is in English. It has absolutely nothing to do with Germany particularly.
Just saw the video. As a German I can assure you that Germany is doing just fine. Yes we took more than a million refugees. At the beginning it was quite a challenge. But finally we managed the situation. Meanwhile more than 40% of the refugees are in work and contributing to the prosperity of Germany. Which by the way is one of the strongest economies in the world! Not to mention that our healthcare system is probably one of the best in the world. Our social security systems is so strong that we can handle even pandemics like COVID-19..... The problem with people like Mrs. Trump are that they haven't got a clue what they are talking about...
Also wanna mention that Germany was the only country who took on such a huge number of refugees. The refugee crisis was a crisis because of the Dublin Regulation leaving the costal states flooded with refugees and because the EU did shit to work together. I swear some countries only took on about 100 refugees. Obviously not every country can take as many refugees as others but come on! Those were human lives too!

@Shizzayne thank you for your nice feedback. unfortunately not everything is wonderful with us either. here too there are stupid people from the "AFD" party. unfortunately there is also the "right wing" here. but everyone tries to keep them small and not to heat up like the american president with his stupid tweets and thus split the country. education is one of the most important things in life. because through education comes insight and a sense of responsibility. if all world leaders and especially the fool Trump, bolsonaro, putin, kim, chi, erdogan, assad (certainly a few more) understand that and act accordingly, how wonderful it could be in our world. If all the money that was senselessly invested in weapons and wars were used sensibly, there would be no hunger, no need, envy, jealousy and greed. then it could come true what films like startrek and so on show us as an illusion. but the evil leaders of this world (the list above) want to keep the people stupid, because stupid people are easier to seduce, manipulate and use for their own purposes (usually enrichment). one of your great forefathers once said quite correctly "if the last fish was caught, the last bison was hunted, then you will feel that you cannot eat money" wise words of a clever man *deep respect*

I'm liberal but I mean, the only evidence of immigrants having little effect on Germany was "I've been there, it's fine" which is worthless. Can we not stoop as low as Republicans and provide evidence for our claims? To my knowledge, German has, like most of the Northern Europe, seen a negative impact from immigration.
@@hejalllWell then let me give you some facts. Between 2011 and 2016 immigrants boosted the German economy by 0.2% each year, amounting to around 348 billion USD contributed by immigrants. The reason for this was every year since 2011 migrants contributed more in the labour market than native-born Germans. This is from a report by Deutsches Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung, which you can read at www.diw.de/sixcms/detail.php?id=diw_01.c.605566.en Furthermore you are completely wrong when you say "like most of the Northern Europe." In the U.K. for example, every single migrant contributes 3000 USD more to the economy than an average Briton, much of which went to funding the National Health Service and saving the lives of citizens. This information was from a brexit-related Oxford Economics paper The Fiscal Impact of Immigration on the U.K. which you can read at www.oxfordeconomics.com/recent-releases/8747673d-3b26-439b-9693-0e250df6dbba.

@@hejalll if this is your knowledge, you should do better.
This is from a report by Deutsches Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung, which you can read at www.diw.de/sixcms/detail.php?id=diw_01.c.605566.en
Furthermore you are completely wrong when you say "like most of the Northern Europe." In the U.K. for example, every single migrant contributes 3000 USD more to the economy than an average Briton, much of which went to funding the National Health Service and saving the lives of citizens. This information was from a brexit-related Oxford Economics paper The Fiscal Impact of Immigration on the U.K. which you can read at www.oxfordeconomics.com/recent-releases/8747673d-3b26-439b-9693-0e250df6dbba.

We're not all crazy over here
By her standards, Then i guess the dawn fall of the Americas was the arrival of European immigrants 😂
@Ramirez - I'D rather say the downfall of the American was in year 1885. If you don't know what happened in 1885 I can tell you. In this year the grandfather of DT immigrated into the USA.
no i dont know what happened, but by that time the Americans had already been colonized, Aztecs, chichimekans, Mayans etc. Their lands Had already been taken from them, ofcourse not to mention Apaches and other tribes occupying the upper Americas.
Bottom line is lara trump whants to talk about the dawn fall of civilization pick up a history book, read about what happened to the Americans and who and why.
But i would love it if you can refer me to a book about what you were trying to tell me.

White Immigrants

He didn’t “immigrated” he was deported through revoked citizenship from Germany..... reason.? for being an AS*H*LE...!
NB: I think you meant “emigrated” as he was a migrant, to improve ones life and/or offered employment or to hold employment, as not an immigrant in search of asylum or desperation.

He is a model representation of why the German citizens welcomed those in need.
@ Syrian refugee
And the date of the passport was right before he "fled" ??
It is said that an 80% of the Syrians are not actually from Syria. You have to have some money to travel that far.
Wow
@@cherryfresh6150 Really? Who or what organization said "it"?
@ 4orrcountry
It is unconfirmed info. Our ministry won't give this kind of info either. But multiple times it happened that whole families were claiming to be from Syria and meanwhile came from Libanon or neighboring countries. Economic "refugees" are no asylum seekers.
It happened that a little boy won a song contest and was claiming to be from Syria with his family.
Father was killed and they fled. But when they went there it appeared that the father worked and the boy went to school in a place near the border with Syria.
And so they were illegal, travelling on false papers.
That was nice to hear

Quote:
"The good news is that refugee integration has increased noticeably. Refugees in Germany are attending university and working in greater numbers, thereby helping to address the country’s labor shortages. Efforts to train asylum seekers have increased, and some economic benefits of the refugee influx are beginning to materialize. It’s also notable that Germany has since 2015 enjoyed substantial economic growth, record low unemployment rates, as well as record federal budget surpluses, notwithstanding the costs of absorbing more than a million newcomers. Despite the high number of refugees-most of whom are entitled to public welfare payments-the number of welfare recipients in Germany has actually dropped in recent years."
