Wow this is beautiful, I’m currently researching stuff for my 1st sim build. And I think the dudes on Reddit have already influenced me.
In my head I’m telling myself “this wheel only costs $500 more than the wheel + base combo I wanted”
And just like that my $1215 wheel + base budget is now up to $2765 if I buy this wheel lol.
And I still need pedals, a cockpit and monitor, errrr monitors because you can’t race without triple screens.
So basically I’ll be spending about what’s fairly decent used car would cost so I can pretend race people. This hobby seems like quite the money pit
With the Hyper P1 coming some time in the next months, this is pretty cool to see. Can't wait to customize it like yours.

Good stuff and nice review. Although I would give order/shipping/delivery a 2 heart. Although the wheel arrived and was shipped quickly, the main issue I have is it was scheduled for delivery in late summer of 2022. It is now 2023. I think all these companies need to take the Asetek approach. Rake your reservation and you pay when shipped. The wheel is great and I will likely get one in the future when I can just pickup from microcenter, but as a sim fan, not meeting your delivery date by such a long delay is not great service. They are excellent at many things but that has to be a negative in an otherwise great review.
Thank you for the kind words, Grayze! I had “late summer” somehow saved in my brain as October. Therefore we are talking 3 to 3,5 months delay to that. Me as a customer just want a product that is not shipped too early and then to be regretted. The open and honest communication about the current progress was valued into my rating. But I am fully with you that it can be too long for Sim Racers waiting for the product. I can tell you: it was worth the wait 😁

It is not cheap… if you purchase directly at GSI you will have to count approx 230€ on top for delivery & customs.

The shifters sounds noisy, maybe your room echo amplify the noise?
May I ask you about the import tax. Do you pay it when ordering the wheel or to DHL prior the wheel reception?
The shifters are similar to the FPE shifters and can be compared with Cube Controls in terms of loudness. Import tax will be charged by DHL prior to wheel delivery. Which country are you from?

Hello racing is my passion, a question, that the dashboard is a self-made one via Sim Hub? I also use Sim Hub, but unfortunately I don't have the Dash layout? :(. I'm considering buying the steering wheel, can you still recommend it because the price is already steep???? Thank you very much for your help in advance :)....LG Sandro
This dash can be downloaded directly from GSI (they have a good discord). If you are into round GT wheels with a screen this is the way to go.
