What makes Porsche 911 special is it's the only sports car designed not to look aggressive at all. Even the friendly faced miata/mx-5 has adopted mazdas aggressive corpo face, which is why it's kinda funny seeing a calm faced 911 amongst its angry looking sports car competitors
The rule is that cars with faces that look “exhausted” will last forever. The 90s Accords, LeSabres, Maximas, and others that share the same “tired” face will make 250k miles easily.
I love Zenvo for being the angriest car ever, Porsche for being unbothered since it's always the best on track and ram cos well it'll ram you off the road
Well, that explains why more people act aggressively toward me when I got my 2017 Mustang. I drive it the same as my wife's Volvo S60 but get way more attitude.
I like to think that cars are progressively looking more and more agressive because our society is turning more and more agressive and individualistic, and the success of this kind of agressive car designs is a proof of this theory. Also, there are fewer "friendly" car designs and fewer "people's car" than before, because is getting harder and harder to afford and maintain cars.
It's called design language, and its made to emphasize the car's performance and perks (i guess), pareidolia (a psychological phenomenon where a person often sees a pattern from an inanimate object, especially a face) also a common factor for cars, these two things are important in a car brand's identity, that explains why car brands tend to make cars look similar to each other but you can still distinguish them
I am genuinely sick and tired of all these stupid designs. Now every single goddamn car on the road is a big fat SUV with a hideous angry face, a giant grille that resembles a gaping mouth ready to swallow you whole, edges all over the bodywork that make no sense whatsoever and angles and sharp lines that are supposed to make the car look more mean, muscular and menacing, while in reality it only looks like the designers had no idea where to go from there and decided to toss some random shit to pass off as neat details. I say bring back simple and clean designs, for crying out loud!
This video is extremely underrated! Very well made! I think that some design are intentional as you said, but I also think that some designers are not aware of their choices, of why did they design that car in such a way. What do you think of the Bugatti Tourbillion?
To me it seems like a face that’s being warped backwards as if it was moving really fast. Like when astronauts do g force training. I think the designers wanted to make a car that looks like it was going real fast even if it wasn’t 🤔
i especially love the supersports or hypercars those don't have the same aggressive look. take Pagani cars for example. they don't remind of a predator that is about to attack you. they just downright look beautiful, since they were designed to resemble a pretty and strong lady. It just makes you feel like, when you drive a Lamborghini, you have an anger session on the highway, but when you drive a Pagani, you just have some good time, going super fast. These can also be the emotions when you're driving a high performance car. When you own such a car, it can still make you feel good, without making you feel like the tough guy. It makes you love the car, by bringing such contradiction.
People have changed, they aren’t how they used to be, that’s why cars changed. Maybe it’s good there’s not a lot of graceful cars anymore, it just makes it that much better to see one
I remember when I first watched the Need for Speed Hot Pursuit trailer back in 2010 and I thought the Lamborghini Reventón was the most angry looking car and even more intimidating as a police car.

(But this is about cars!) Oh, right. =My absolute favorite car of all time has been the Camaro (Zl1). It's my "bad boy". 1:13 that red car in the back: 😡
I'm scared when i see a angry face at cars
For all the people who don’t know the first one it’s a Zenvo TS1 GT ANNIVERSARY
8:34 Looks sleepy. (my mom 2024)
Honestly I like cars more with the mad look
Now that I look at my car grille it does look pretty stern.
McLarens having a devious smile:
My trucks different, every once in a while the headlights pop out, so it looks sad , if only one pops out, it looks like it has a stroke
Bro : bro why someone angry
Me : Nah its just my car
The car : 0:30
I'm not the only one who sees this 😭
Does CRV 2024 is woop angry because headlight striped ones have more emotions than no stripes and also it has like a grill that looks aggressive
The car reminds me that it has a V8 or will beat a Ford Mustang GT in a race
3:37 lmao that's emiliano zapata
This straight up sounds like a conspiracy theory
I want a car with either a smug or slightly lewd face.
Every car gangsta until that one car with a huge grin 💀
What am I referring to? The McLaren P1 GTR
I feel like McLaren P1 is the most happiest among all cars made by McLaren
