1: Renault Avantime
2: Porsche 911
3: Fiat Multipla
Thanks for making my lunch break very epic Stype
I think 2: is Alpine A110
Thanks for providing that info! I'm satisfied with my five out of six facts got right.
Renaults hideous designs such as those should def follow the trend, absolute horrendous designs in the 90s and early 2000s
@@MrRohanThomas I actually like the Avantime, weird and stupid cars appeal to me. But I can agree with that sentiment
The renault avantime is beautiful
Tbh if ppl knew what the toyota century was, People will instantly complain to lexus for not making this😂
That’s car is so luxurious.
as much as people rave about the LFA (100% for the exhaust note), the century SHOULD have been the true halo car for lexus
@brianeugenelee blud Mitsubishi makes regular cars like suvs and minivans which is still pretty important for the market, its just that they dont make any more sports cars/coupes and stuff like that
@@user-ki2yg2mm5y gotta make at least one car for the car enthusiasts.

The TVR Sagaris still looks badass, even almost 20 years after it first came out
I want one so bad too bad TVR never was sold in the US
@@eaauto6182 not only it is not sold in the US but it's also illegal there
@@denisminigarage2030and very little of them were produced on top of that
TVR still to this day had some of the coolest and most beautiful cars I get they were extremely unreliable and unsafe but still just gorgeous vehicles
They might just be resurrecting the brand next year, they’ve been trying to do that for 4 years but maybe.
Thanks for agreeing that the Challenger is the ONLY true muscle car left. Farewell Challenger, it's been one hell of a ride.
At least we still have 5.0 😂😂
@@aziiz4526 As Stype said, Mustangs and Camaros ARE NOT muscle cars. They're sports cars.
🫡 my fav boy challenger
@@ry_hellcat1562 mustang is the first one of the three and the last one
@@aziiz4526 So what? The Challenger at least didnt change to a sports car like the Mustang and Camaro did.
The Challenger part almost made me tear up and I'm not even American
Same here
Same. I love muscle cars.
same, the 2018 demon is my dream car but i know i will never be able to get my hands on it.
No need to be American
nro i got goosebumps on that hellcat trailer
To be honest, I loved the Mitsuoka Orochi. Not just by the fact that it's a Japanese Supercar. It's because the design is just plain cool IMO. I know that it's weird, but I loved this car. The large Citroens are also really interesting, because they are weird. But it's because of their weirdness that they are so cool
profile pic checks out
Orochi in English means something serpentine.
All Mitsuoka are really weird. The Orochi was - it's a supercar - super weird.
But I love the large Citroën, they have still an esthetic design language and not curves on the wrong places.
It looks like a fish literally. It has to be one of the ugliest cars of all time.
Nice, some love for the Century. However you can get it outside of Japan. A handful of them exist in Europe and Australia. What I really love about it, is the amazing styling. As for the TVR, it's really like a British viper, nice and temperamental. Also love the shout out to GMA and Morgan, both super underrated.
Two (three) cars I would also include are the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio and the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing (and the CT4-V Blackwing). Performance sedans are a dying breed and we must protect them.
I know that older versions were offered worldwide, but the 3rd gen is JDM only.
Naturally, you can import it still
@@TopCarsTV Import is the way to go.
Centry, the alfa and Cadillac v i love all of them
Also i like the looks of century more than maybacks
@@TopCarsTVctually i've seen a new gen of the Century's has been imported to my country (Indonesia)and has been reviewed by a famous local reviewer

The Mitsuoka Orochi is named after the Japanese Mythological Serpent, so it's probably intentional that they made it look like a deep sea monster

Imagine having a deep-blue colored one, and driving through the late foggy night. It has soul.
That 3.9L V12 sent me with the goosebumps.
That's the only way the newer generations can experience what an F1 powerplant from the 90s sounded like
The only car comes close that I can think of is the Pagani Huayra R with it's *INSANE* 6.0-liter V-12 that makes over 800+ HP.
It's basically an 90's F1 car but modernized in this time. This is why that I love Pagani!
@@haaxxx9 its not road legal unfortunatly... but yeah sounds insane to also dont forget abt the 787b

Finally Citroen is getting appreciated. I've Always loved french cars, and Will continue loving them. And the hate they get arent even valid. Half the cars people claim to be unreliable are more reliable than other European cars.
the new peugeot 408 is also dope af but no one buys it :(
Citroën is a bit the trial and error brand of France

Stype: How much for the Demon 170? Just $96,666

As with everything, the price of Demon will end up being what people are ready to pay for it
You are the only RUclipsrs that always makes good content, whatever the trends are doing at the time, you deserve so much more attention!
I Like weird cars and these are going from fancy to deadly on a scale. I don’t watch the videos regularly but damn do I fall in love with some of the cars on the lists.
Now imagine how hard is it to make these videos... Going through so much material about the cars easily makes you fall in love with them.
Whenever I'm doing a video I always end up checking the prices for at least one. This time it was Sagaris.
80,000 GBP
The story about TVR was that if you sneezed, you’d be facing the other way. The Sagaris was the first one where carjournalists agreed it didn’t have to be that way. You might actually live.
And there always were those that claimed that a bit of tlc on the suspension, like Lotus could do it, would’ve gone a long way on any TVR.
i have a tvr in forza and its so hard to drive i never use it
The challenger actually was produced for 53 years now
I'm always an S-class fans, but that Toyota Century looks so elegant, especially with that red paint option OMG
Looks like the w140, the best s class out there
biy merçadess diséell
Yeah, Citroen hydropneumatic suspension is something else. I have Citroen C5, which has harder suspension than C6, and I still was blown away by smoothness. I literally don't have to brake before speed bump, it just floats over it. And also you can rise it with buttons for better clearance in case of off-roading or going over flooded street.
I used to own a Citroen Xantia (non activa) which my friends referred to as a frigate.
It leaned in the corners like a boat, but over bumps it was like a magic carpet ride.
Also it works great against tailgaters that foolishly try to follow you over speedbumps. Made one guy in a lowered Fiesta hit his head on the headliner by floating over a speedbump that he could not take at that speed.
The look on his face after that will stay with me forever. :D
@@Squeaktoymk2 Lmao, about speedbumps is so true. I do it sometimes too. Saw sparks coming out from BMW during the impact when we both went over speedbump at 70 km/h.
Prominent businessmen from my home town own a custom mitsuoka, embroded with a badge with their name on it. In pictures it looks like a monster, but in real life it is far more beautiful. It stands out. And on the topic of a monster: That was the idea of it. If I remember correctly it is based on a japanese legend of an 8headed serpent water monster.
I like it. It is unique.
The first time I saw the Sagaris I found the exhausts very funny. Today I love em.
Honorable mentions I know are the Renault Avantime (Two Door Minivan) and Fiat Multipla.
I think the second was a 959.
@@flare7625 I saw the front gas cap but I wasn't to certain. You could be right.
MPV not minivan.
@@lol-de4lo MPV and Minivan are pretty much the same except that MPVs are better equipped.
@@LexusLFA554 I wouldn't really say it's a minivan since it only seats 5. So I think MPV is more fitting.
Another honorable Mention would be the BMW F20 M135/M140i. RWD, unique Design, Manual as an option, brilliant 3L Straight 6 and all that in a Compact Car.
Puts the "hot" in "hot hatch"
bmw i8 bmi i3
bmw mini coper
The honorable mention to the Multipla made me very happy, cause that's what the Fiat Multipla really is about
Kudos for the Toyota Crown. The Citroens have always been lovely weird and the TVR Sagaris would really make my day.😍
By far the most under rated channel in You tube, @stype you rock brother 👍
Please post your videos more often 🙏
The Orochi is about 20 years old. They made a convertible and both do look nice. They do a lot of custom coach work and they make the most beautiful hearses in the world.
I would add Audi TT first generation to this list. It had that oval design which was very consistent actually and with silver colour the car felt so cold and hermetic. I like it, other companies tried to copy that "ovalness" later, nissan 350z or Mitsubishi eclipse i guess
buy n9aassan z350 or newer z400
that conclusion tugged on the old heartstrings a little. Goodbye Challenger, you were a true American hero. And will always have a special place in every car persons heart. *que taps*
Very cool that you use CarRanger Footage, they do awesome stuff like you
(sadly for foreigners, only in German)
Soon you will see a new company that won't follow these trends
I don't know why this channel is not growing with the great content this has❤.
Awesome vid as always man, but the end literally brought tears to my eyes...
Aside from this, a video idea if I may: Top 7(?) Cars that prove old isn't always gold. I think you get the idea of what that video will be from the title. Much love
2:30 The front of this Orochi looks like a clam tbh 😅
7:00 Citroen has changed. They don't make theese weird hatchback sedans anymore. Every currently availabe Citroen car simply is a design-variant from a Peugeot-car.
I never got tired of watching again and the same feeling came over me as at the beginning.
Awesome video as always stype! When I saw the mention of the large French cars(especially the C6), I was really hoping that I would see the italian "sibling" of it as well - the Lancia Thesis. I know the design is not for everyone, but especially due to this I think it didn't really follow the trends back in the day(no uber fast version, suspension tuned for comfort and the smallest cylinder count was 5). Can't blame anyone if they didn't know about it, probably wouldn't have known it myself if my dad didn't have one - but still such a quirky car, I am thinking of buying one myself down the line
I like the Thesis design. Kinda baroquesque and very unique for sure.
@@TopCarsTV Especially the taillights are amazing, however even as a diehard fan of it I have to say the side view is ugly - somehow it looks too short and having driven the thing it really is not. I am cautiously optimistic about the Lancia renaissance. Speaking of which, what do you think of the new Pu+Ra?
@@CarThrottlefan PuRa is too conceptual right now. If anything comes out of it, it will look vastly different.
But as concept cars go... It's trying too hard to be an art installation, rather than a car.
Too many hard shapes thrown together for my taste
The Thesis is properly unique and weird (and downright hideous). It's like an Alfa 166 but way more interesting
It has a face only it’s mother could love, but the rear taillights are super cool
I watched you since your very first video, I've seen you go from a sort of meh RUclipsr, to my favourite car RUclipsr. Keep up the good work!
Meh? Oh come on, I thought my early videos were top notch too.
Not by today's standards, but you know, I was giving it my best 😁
Fun-Fact: the cloth interior in the Century is more expensive than the leather variant.
Because (this special) wool don´t wrinkle your suit like cowhide...
the brake pedal in the DS is an horrible experience but we still love our big old citroens, the hydropneumatique suspension on the DS saved the life of our president ounce and for a lot of French people, the sm is one of the most beautiful cars ever (if it drives lol)
❤8:30 Tom. That experience of damn near bliss .😅
I laughed so much :D Cool! Challenger was always my dream car btw. It feels like a spaceship on a road from inside.
Educational, Interesting, Hilarious, and overall.....Brilliant!
Ah... :)) The rear glass comment on the C6 got me laughing out loud!!! It's a nice feature, and it's a crazy comfortable car to drive. I hope we can keep alive ours for very long time!!!
The brake button in the DS Citroën isn't just a simple on/off switch, it's a pressure button that applies the brakes more the harder you press down on it. It works like that because the hydraulic system doesn't just run the suspension, but also the brakes and power steering. It was the same for the CX. (My parents owned both)
You just had to get used to it. Then it was so easy. The DS hade huge disc brakes at the gearbox, not in the wheels.
This is one of my fave car channels on youtube. Its funny informative and I disagree with almost every take he has lol. I love the orochi and want one.
Great video thanks for sharing. Call me quirky but I’d be very happy with any of the 7 on your list. Never really been into hyper cars but I’ve always been into muscle cars. After seeing older Toyota Centurys here in Australia yeah I’d even enjoy one of those as they’re very comfortable and don’t scream look at me. One car I absolutely love is the Orochi because it’s original and just plain weird.
Great commentary. Love it!
2:22 my favorite part from our man in Japan was when James’s tour guide referred to Japan as, “The land of the rising penis”.
The best part was when he couldn't finish that story with the katana handle looking like a penis
honestly... i LOVE the Orochi and the Sagaris. both are amazing and underappreciated (especially the Orochi).
That was so refreshing - to watch a celebration of cool cars!! and not have a lecture of what we are all doing wrong.
Great scripting and editing. Very well done.
Thanks snipe for making good contact! And I love your videos
God daamn, the old man did not leave the fan behind!!!!!😂
laughing all the way 😂😂. Keep it up!
Very nice video , informative, and cool ❤ thanks
Citroën is my favorite French car brand. The DS, the SM, the Xantia, the Xsara, the Saxo VTS, they are clearly best looking french cars
Also the guys at Mitsuoka have done a few other cars. One has a Nissan chassis and a body that looks like a 50s Jaguar.
We've all seen the latest Grand Tour 😉
@@TopCarsTVI haven't seen it yet lol
You should check the Jiotto Caspita, goregeos Japanese SuperCar (there is around 2, maybe 3 versions? not sure)
Never expected the sagaris to be in this video, 😂🔥🔥🔥 amazing car, and the citroens, fantastic! But how could you forget about saab cars?
I'd also mention Donkervoort, the only brand i can think of that make cars with front wheel fenders separate to the main body.
Nice! I am curious why in the Citroens you didn't mention the XM... It looked like nothing else (not even like it's ancesters) and still had all of the Citroen "perks and quirks". I guess on this side of the pond nobody knows those, but look it up!
The XM was positively conventional compared to the CX, SM and DS. It still had the spaceship styling but its chassis and engines were shared with the Peugeot 605, it had a more normal dashboard and controls, a normal brake pedal and they even started stiffening up the Hydropneumatic Suspension with this model, at least according to hardcore Citroenistas
Why no XM? Word count. I have to tell a story in 250 words or less. That's why the C6 part is very short too
Fair enough! :)
I know for a fact that there's atleast 2 Centurys in North Europe. One in Sweden and one in Finland. V12 engine and a ride fit for an emperor. Stunning piece of art.
and at least one in North America (Doug Demuro)
Older generations were sold globally, but not very well. So with the 3rd gen they didn't even bother.
You can still import it though
In germany we also had Wiesmann which were uncommon cars as well. I always liked the strange outsiders like TVR, Wiesmann, Morgan, Saab, Lotus or Mitsuoka. Shame it's not that easy to get them in germany but they're awesome
Bitter ..
I think one of your best videos 🎉
3:13 that's the most accurate theory ever.
Very neat indeed that challeger, state of the art, follow by the hellcat, music to my ears, now that's what I can talk about, most kind of you for sharing it with us, my most expressive thanks, from the endless summer paradise Puerto Rico Jesus Torres.
I would be dissapointed if Dodge Challenger didn't make it into the list, the car that doesn't follow the trend of track based "muscle cars"
For Murray's car, the fan at the back I'm pretty sure is inspired by an f1 car back in the 80's which was known as the fan car, the team that used was named Brabham but I can't really remember the real name of the f1 car (that's just my theory because the fan at the back reminded of the fan car)
Yeah, he keeps referencing that car whenever the T.50 fan is mentioned. However, they don't do the same work.
F1 is so low to the ground that the fan was creating a vacuum under the car.
T.50 is too high for that. Instead, it aids the diffuser to create a larger airflow breakaway.
I've explained it much better in one of my older videos about Cars with the Craziest Aerodynamics 😊
Btw, the F1 car was known as the BT46b.
@@TopCarsTV ok, thanks for the reply

Personal opinion here: the Orochi is the ugliest car in existence, tied for first with the Pontiac Aztek
But it doesn't care, neither do its owners and it earned my respect because of that
I have huge respect for Multipla owners. They know it's ugly, but it's also very practical and they don't care about your opinion.

@@TopCarsTV just like Aztek owners
@@TopCarsTV The Multipla is not nearly as ugly as many people carriers. At least it _has_ a style, unlike those shapeless lumps.

I first saw the Mitsouka in a magazine as a kid and thought it was the coolest thing ever. Internet wasn't common so I couldn't even google it, just had to settle for staring at it.
One of your best videos. Cheers.
Wow, thanks!
The Mustang is released as an electric SUV these days, but the V8 muscle coupe version still refuses to give up, so I don't think that just because the challenger gave up means that all hope is lost.
8:36 Also this moment is funny and scary af at the same time.
Very entertaining video 💕❤️
The first thing that came to my mind when i saw the Mitsubishi Orochi is "LEVIATHAN". That thing looks extra terrestrial and i WANT ONE
The Sagaris's rear end reminds me of the scream mask
I have a Citroen SM and l must say l love it, fantastic ride, comfortable seats not a sportscar but a true GT. Now approaching 90k miles l recently had the Maserati V-6 rebuilt adding an extra 60 hp making it more fun to drive. A great car

What I'd like to see is what car Stype would create. You're a designer right? And you clearly have an eye for stuff like character, style and some other lost arts in the car industry, that would stand out from the modern trend of sterile, corporate, risk-averse future boxes. And I bet the commercial for it would be memorable too.
Yeah, I'm a designer but industrial design (such as cars) requires a whole new education on top of mine.
It's easy for me to fix the ugly issues that I see, but designing a whole new car as a unit would take me months, probably.
the orochi is one of my favorite cars ever, it looks like an aquatic tarantula
The first honourable mention was a Renault Avantime, and the third looked like the FIAT Multipla
Not sure about the second
Second seems to be a Porsche. Probably 2010s 911 of some kind
Alpine a110 i would say
CITOREN AINT AWAY OF THIS ONE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The Citroens are genius: I've owned 4 DS/ID. Great mileage, incredibly comforable, my break (wagon) could carry 3/4 of a ton and self level and adjust braking for said wait. I had 327K on the clock of my sedan when I sold it to a collector. Driving an SM is basically like skimming a jet over the ground. It's completely insane. The brake mushroom isn't "On or off". It's the amount of force you put on it, rather than travel. It does require a sensitive foot, but once you get used to it, anything else feels stupid. And for the rear window on the C6? The reverse curve keeps it clean. I had a car with a big rounded rear window and dirt and snow ALWAYS collected there....
The otherworldly weirdness of the Orochi is its greatest feature TBH.
On the Toyota Century, I love the integrated navigation head unit. I hate the ones that stick out of the dashboard.
