This is wonderful that in Panama you can add homes to your property without a lot of bylaw restrictions preventing that. You are able to live your dream of a like-minded community. Many people helping many people. I love what you are doing.
Every person added to farm makes everyone else safer and more secure.
My friends and I would like to do the same set up and buy property and each of us have our own house but care for one another as we age. Nope, so many fricken laws
You guys are So Intuitive! Lola, love at first sight... Dropped out of the Patagonia pack and bought this incredibly beautiful piece of land and really put a great deal of thought and research into it it is so lovely, as a person with zero intuition I want to know how you got that way at that one third of my age?! I don't need a big piece at all but if you want your community to include a child care provider who is so interactive and loving and education/ nature oriented I would only need a piece of land the size of a camper van I'm easy it is gorgeous there and I will pay my dues and work very hard. I'm also a great cook and my sister worked for elder care homes, and she can give me great recipes to feed groups I'll work all the time because I love it, and that piece of property is muy tranquilo!!
Building codes are for safety you moron. They are not just random rules. This shack they built is very unsafe.

I follow them because I like them and I've seen them make some mistakes and they're young and sometimes foolhardy, so just put it out there -tell them exactly which steps they can take to improve their property make it less unsafe a comment like that should come with distinct suggestions to be helpful, not hurtful. I can't imagine being on this site to call someone a moron I think there are so much better ways to spend your time and energy than with such blatant hostility are you jealously they own property are you jealous that they found somebody that totally and completely loves them, or they have a lot of followers? The fence for the goats may last forever but they are going to need a bigger enclosure. I would suggest drawing out to scale, or on a surveyed map all you plan. Four families, the workshop, a power upgrade, water, a large garden, larger chicken coop, you will have to keep them out of the garden, larger goat pen,, a milking shed, and anything else you plan. You don't want to run out of land and once Covid is over I'm sure you will get your residency. Kake is a great guy and I'm sure he and Adriana will be a great addition to the farm.
I believe during the day time the goat will be attached to a long horse rope outside of the fence. That way the goat can be placed on different parts of the property to keep the grass low.

Those ladders are going to haunt you!!! Watch Weed 'em and Reap for goat experise. Take a close look at their fences and the distance between the does and the bucks. Maybe that enclosure you built would suit pigs better....

- At the top of your goat fence, on your main standards, put a 300mm piece at 45*, and then one more square tube on the end - this will stop them getting over because, just in case you never knew, goats are very good climbers...;)
I'm hoping they surround goat fence with chicken wire so feral/wild dog-sized animals(not Lola!) can't crawl between bars!

Kake is really enjoying bringing us more extreme close-ups (which adds undeniable drama to the construction scenes) and the slow, methodical time-lapse of welding the rungs on the metal fence felt almost zen-like. Certainly, there is emotional depth to the coming together of a farm community but I also like the way you are treating these videos as exercises to keep the interest of your viewers.
