You’re both so sweet! I know you’re annoyed at people telling you what to do and what not to do while pregnant. But honey when you’re eight or nine months pregnant getting up and down that ladder is going to be a trip. I hope you’re making your bed frame high enough because 8 or 9 months pregnant getting up and getting down is going to be a real issue. I hope things go well for you. ❤️

After 3 babies and awesome midwives, the best advice I got was you will know when you push your limits (the body always knows). So from that I say do things others think you can’t (you know what is best) and when you can’t do even the smallest things, let others help ❤️ blessings to you on this sweet journey ❤️

Hello from Florida. I enjoyed today’s chapter of your life. Just some Advise hoping is not unwanted. 1 You should put a 1x4 strip on the wall outside of the railing to strengthen it. Nails or screws won’t hold much. 2 make sure you guys dispose correctly of those linseed oil soaked rags or paper towels. I would just burn them outside. They can spontaneously ignite.

You might want to put in stairs along one wall, in this case on the left, kitchen side, & like in tiny homes, build storage under the stairs.
One I saw has a deep kitchen pantry closet beneath the highest side of the stairs. Each step has a drawer face with a knob pull, under it.
This makes lots of easy access storage, plus strong stairs, & the pets can walk up & down. So much easier for a very pregnant mama, & for a sleepy new mom & dad carrying their precious baby!

One suggestion, keep the area open that gets to the under bed space. If it is sealed too much air won’t flow under and your mattress will get moldy. It looks better closed off but let the air get under there. Also get a large basket to put Lola and the cat in to pull them up to the loft with you. They are going to miss being able to snuggle with you.

One thing to watch for in high humidity areas mattresses tend to get moldy after a few years. That dry heat wood stove should help a lot though

All you need (besides the mattress) now is a little shelf, drawer and an outlet by the bed for an alarm clock or charging your phone, a lamp or even a place for a glass of water.
    Great job!

Guys!!! About your coffee....this geisha is delicious. Great aroma, nice roasting with a delicate but firm taste. Loved the package, the labels.....fantastic job! You are a very intelligent couple and you know what you're doing...I'm sure nobody will fall from the attic. Waiting for the news you have. Big hug❤

*edit* well, scratch that 😔 I just read in another comment that they did that "by design" so Lola wont get the bed & sheets dirty anymore, they arent letting em on the bed anymore...On the sofa it is!

I wouldn’t let Roger up while there is just an air mattress as he will stretch and dig into it ...no more blow up mattress!

You might have to insulate that thin garvanise sheeting later.
Being a few feet from it going to drive you bonker when it rains at night, or does it rain in the afternoon mostly.
